Katie’s POV
“What’s your name?” I ask Pauly’s friend who’s joined us on this joke of a road trip.
I thought Pauly was a silent giant. That was until I met his friend. He was the direct opposite to Pauly’s pale complexion but had at least a hundred pounds on Pauly. Poor guy could barely sit straight in the car he was so tall.
“It’s going to be a long ride.” I leaned forward, resting my chin against the driver’s seat, batting my eyelashes. “It’d be easier if I could call you something. If you don’t tell me, I’ll have to make up a name.”
The silent giant grunted in response, which was more of a noise than I had heard from him in the last thirty minutes. Olivia and I had made this morning a living nightmare for Pauly and his friend.
Stretching out as much time as we could to delay our departure, we eventually were forced into the car by Pauly and his terrifyingly large friend. Not to mention the second car of equally colossal muscle men.
