Chapter 23: Mou The Chivalrous Knight

Valery lined up all of the crows before her who she had trapped with her Marionette Threads, including Nagoo who was no longer unconscious. Glaring at Lyra, she spoke, "Ku-ku-ku! All of your friends are now under my control. What are you going to do by yourself?"

Lyra thought to herself, 'This situation has gone awry. With their combined strength, I won't come out unscathed. Plus I don't have enough Krowqui in storage to pull off another Album attack. Do I flee? I doubt that vulture would allow it. Then what do I…?'

Mou interrupted Lyra's thinking process, "Lyra it looks like you're in a rough spot. Do you need my help?"

Lyra answered resoundingly, "No! I don't want your help. I can handle this myself." Lyra directed her focus back to Valery. 'With that being said, how am I going to get through this?'

Valery got tired of waiting for Lyra to make a move, thus she issued a command to her puppets. "Skin her alive! Rip her limb from limb!" Her great animosity towards Lyra was indeed warranted, after all, she was the one who dealt her the most damage.

"Here they come."

Adusa attacked first by coating her hands in poison aura. Lyra was careful not to directly grab Adusa's hands, instead, she used Adusa's impetus against her to throw her over her head. While Lyra's back was turned, Baiera came along delivering a fierce punch which hit her towards Riuk who slashed forth with a wooden blade. Lyra swiftly produced an Astral Mirror that reflected Riuk's wooden blade attack. During her distraction, Nagoo appeared behind her delivering a sneaky upper kick to her spine. At the same time, Adusa attacked from above with a huge poison mallet.

"Ku-ku-ku!" Valery was enjoying Lyra's struggle. "How long can you hold out for?"

The 5 girls who were under Valery's control were madly striking away at Lyra's frail constitution. She had to surround herself with a circular glass barrier to keep safe.

"Tsk, this barrier won't last long. I will have to go on the offensive from here on out."

Shortly after Lyra made up her mind, the glass barrier shattered to pieces. She slipped out from underneath the falling fragments as well as quickly captured their images in several glass frames.

"Shatter!" The manipulated ladies got blasted backwards except for Nagoo because she wasn't a part of the Captured Frame. She managed to slip into the Subtle Shadow Realm just before her image could be fully captured.

Repapering behind Lyra, Nagoo flung forth a skinny leg of vengeance that kicked her into a nearby rock.

"Leg Xpansion!" Right away as Lyra crashed against the rock, Baiera swung her thick metallic leg aimed at her throat.

"Huh?" Lyra quickly lowered her head a few inches to avoid the sharp kick which could have given her an early departure into the renowned afterlife.

Baiera's attack shattered the upper portion of the solid rock. Lyra broke another frame that sent her flying above. Simultaneously, Okami released her Guillotine Dison Wolves that attacked Lyra in pairs. She had to leap between 2 Guillotine Wolves while immediately twisting sideways to avoid getting sliced by the third one.

"That was close!" Just as Lyra took a breath of relief, Adusa came crashing down at her with her Poison Mallet. She used her quick thinking to create an "Astral Mirror!"

The scenery fragmented before Lyra's sight. Within the shattered frame an exact depiction of a tree stump that was 45-metres away appeared in full view. Lyra flew through the Astral Mirror and instantly appeared atop the tree stump. Adusa missed her chance at smashing Lyra into pancakes.

"Geez, give me a break." Lyra was getting very exhausted; she had to constantly keep her feathers in motion. Due to this, she hadn't the stamina to fly anymore.

Nagoo came back again for round 4. She grabbed Lyra's wings holding her steady for Riuk to capture her with restrictive Vine Barks. Lyra was held tightly in place, so much so that her voluptuous framework was gradually getting crushed.

"Fu-hu-hu-hu!" Valery became excited seeing this horrific scenery. "That is what I like to see." She began strutting over to where Lyra was being held captive while sucking on her fingers excitedly as she lewdly fondled her loins.

Looking down at Lyra's hurting state, Mou said to her, "Lyra all you have to do is say the magic words and I'll come running."

"I can take care of myself!" Lyra refused to ask Mou for assistance, thus she suffered a more brutal beating for almost a minute.

"Fu-hu-hu-hu." With a menacing grin sitting comfortably on her sinister face, Valery went closer to Lyra and touched her bruised chin. "How stubborn you are. That young crow offered his assistance to get you out of this bind, however doubtful it is yet you refused? Look at the broken state that you're in. What are you trying to prove, huh?"

"Screw you!" Lyra spat in Valery's face.

"You disgust me." After wiping the putrid saliva from her face, Valery used the same hand to slap Lyra's cheek. She slapped her multiple times. The last slap that she gave Lyra sent her crashing through a high trash heap.

"Crows finish your friend off. Make it quick and painful."

The girls took to the air immediately after receiving Valery's command. They formed a circle above Lyra while aiming their palms down at her. Their Krowqui began to manifest externally, moreover, combining to form an even bigger Krowqui Bomb!

"Huh, that's?" Looking up at the massive Krowqui Bomb that was meant to obliterate her complete, Lyra couldn't move to save herself. Watching her struggle almost gave Valery a premature orgasm.

"Fu-ku-ku-ku! Don't struggle. Welcome your death with open feathers!"

Lyra coughed out a mouthful of blood due to her alarming stress. "Tsk, I've run out of Krowqui. I can't even use my Astral Mirror anymore. What should I do?" As she asked herself this question, the thought of Mou popped into her head. She envisioned him saying, 'Come on, you know you want to call on me.'

"I have no other choice, even though I really didn't want to give him the satisfaction of rescuing me. I have to." Lyra slowly turned her head towards Mou's location. Biting her lips with gripping humiliation she eventually blurted out, "Mou please save me!"

"Too late! Blow her to bits!" As soon as Valery said this, the massive Krowqui Bomb that the girls produced began its swift descent towards Lyra.

A shadowy figure of Mou leapt from the tree that he was perched on. Looking up at the falling Krowqui Bomb, Lyra said to herself, "Is this the end?"

Only a few feet away from crashing into Lyra, a crimson rose that had a pink heart adhered to its centre appeared between Lyra and the Krowqui Bomb.

"Rose Heart Attack!" The Rose Heart started releasing particular heart-shaped vibrations which detonated the Krowqui Bomb prematurely. The explosion caused the vulture along with her marionettes to be blasted away. Many autumnal leaves were also scattered randomly.

After the shockwave coupled with the miniature dust particles from the blast cleared away, Mou was standing against an uprooted tree with Lyra in his arms. Looking down at her wounded complex, he asked, "Lyra, was that so difficult to do?"

"I…" Lyra was about to open her mouth to voice her answer but he prevented her from speaking by putting a finger on her lip.

"Shhh, don't answer that." Mou carefully leaned Lyra against the tree. "Just stay here and rest up for a bit. I'll end this in a flash."

"Cough!" While rising to her feet, Valery overheard what Mou said and felt disgraced. "How cheeky. What are you going to end in a flash?"

Mou faced her headstrong and responded boldly, "You, of course."

"Ku-ku-ku-ku! You'll have to get past my darlings first. Marionette Dolls!" With twitching fingers, controlling the Krowqui threads, Valery skilfully compelled the 5 ladies to come to her beck and call. They stood in a straight line before her.

Putting a finger to his lips, Mou slightly chortled. "Fhm-mm-mm-mm."

Valery perceived his smirking face and asked feeling massively perturbed, "What is so damn funny?"

Mou's reply was in the form of a quick dash! He instantly blasted through the girls like a bowling ball and stopped inches away in front of Valery. She was shocked out of her mind to see Mou standing before her along with the 5 ladies still suspended in mid-air behind him.

"Huh? How did you…?"

"Shhh." Mou shut her up by placing a finger on her beak. Next, he moved his head closer to her ear. "Prepare yourself. I'm about to give you a mind-blowing orgasm like no other."

"Seductive Krowqui, Kiss Glamour." Mou started kissing Valery's inviting lips. He pushed her elongated beak aside so that he could better insert his tongue into her warm inviting mouth.

Valery became unconscious immediately; also, the 5 ladies who were suspended in mid-air now fell to the ground.

Witnessing everything from start to finish, Lyra was in awe. 'What just happened? All 6 of us ladies combined couldn't take down that insanely strong vulture, yet Mou just swooped in like a chivalrous knight and ended it all with just a kiss? Unbelievable! The ladies who were under Valery's control started regaining consciousness. They moved about the leafy surface briefly until they erected their spines in an upright position. "What happened to the vulture, did we get her?"

Lyra came over saying, "Well, that's kinda… huh?" Her speech was cut short upon seeing Mou with all the ribbons in his grasp including the ones Nagoo previously stole.

"That is how it is done, ladies." Mou smiled at them.

"What the…?" Adusa was shocked when she see Mou standing over the unconscious Vulture with the ribbons. "Don't tell me that this ass pervert defeated her."

"He did." Answered Lyra.

"All by himself?" Okami sounded surprised.

"Huh?" Searching herself for something specific, Nagoo realized that they were missing. "Eh? My ribbons. Where are they?" Looking up, she saw Mou twirling the ribbons around his hand.

"Looking for these?" Mou boasted with the ribbons.

"Hey, those ribbons are ours! Give them back!" Nagoo cursed euphemistically.

Mou responded coolly, "Oh, they're mine now. Consider them as payment for saving your lives." Mou folded the ribbons before he tied them all around his neck.

"That is what you were after the entire time wasn't it?"

Mou tossed his hands into the air in surrender. "You caught me red-handed, Lyra but so have you. This is a competition after all or did you forget?"

Mou started flying away. "Well, see you later ladies at the Final Stage if you can make it there. Eh-heh-heh-heh."

"Hey, wait!" Adusa was about to chase after him but Lyra stopped her.

"Let him go."

"But he has all of our ribbons that we work so plucking hard for."

"This competition isn't over yet. We still have an hour or so remaining." This information was visible on her Digital Feathers. "We should all take a breather and rejuvenate our depleted Krowqui. Once we've recuperated then we'll recommence the hunt for ribbons."

"That's a great idea, Lyra." Okami agreed to take a short break.

"I'm all beat up." Baiera sat back down on the leaf heap.

"I guess I can take a 5-minute break." Riuk also sat down.

"Ahh, my ass hurts!" Adusa cried out in pain.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!" All of a sudden the ladies burst out in laughter.

"Why are you all laughing?" Lyra was dumbfounded.
