Chapter 24: Ch 24 : Marines reaction

I am a rich Second generation in One Piece Ch 24

In the direction of Marine's headquarter, as the phone worm hung up, Sengoku currently had a frown on his face. The Sichibukai Crocodile was dealt by two newcomers, the fire-fist Ace and the sone of the Holzberg Merchant, Seth.

Looking at Sengoku, who was frowning, Tsuru on the side, could not help but sigh.

She had known Seth for a pretty long time, but recently, she felt like she no longer recognized Seth. The little kid had matured so much, first was that enhanced equipment, and now he was taking down Sichibukai?

Fortunately, it's not like Seth had not made any countermeasures.

Before he went to fight Crocodile, he had listed almost all of Crocodile's bad deeds and sent them to Tsuru. Most of them had not yet been confirmed though, but looking at the documents and facts presented, the credibility seemed to be pretty high.

Yup, those documents were all Robin's arrangement, and it was said that it was perfectly crafted.

Only the last person in the room didn't seem to have any concern on his face.

"I didn't expect that Seth kid to be so strong… Furthermore, taking down Crocodile, how about we try and recruit him to be marine?" Garp, who was pretending to be asleep, Suddenly woke up with a long laugh.

How could he not laugh, his grandson was able to take down a Sichibukai, and now it seemed that they would get a new promising recruit for the marine.

Just like Tsuru, Garp also had known Seth for a long time, and he could say that Seth's personality would be suitable to be a marine.

Seth might not know it, but he had been saved by his predecessor's actions.

His predecessor even though he was a stupid simp was a kind individual. He often helped people in need, and also often do donations. All this track record had made Seth become a good seedling in the eyes of Garp and Tsuru.

Nonetheless, things weren't that simple.

Seeing Sengoku frowning and clenching his fists not far away, Garp couldn't help but grin as he moved to pat Senogoku's back.

" Don't worry Sengoku! Smile and eat this senbei! Don't you know that keeps frowning, making you look like an old man?"

"...."

"Damn… it's just that Crocodile's identity is a problem. We need to deal with this matter as soon as possible. After all, it may lower Marine's status in the eyes of the civilians" Sengoku's fist suddenly hit the table.

Sengoku can already imagine that tomorrow this incident will spread across the sea. This time, Crocodile's evil deed would be spread to the whole world, and people would begin to question the marines who decided to shelter the Sichibukai.

Damn the World Government. This was why Sengoku really didn't want to accept the Sichibukai policy.

Still, the rice had turned into porridge, and there's no way to regret it right now.

But just when Sengoku thought tomorrow would be bleak, Tsuru sighed and eventually decided to step up.

" Sengoku, actually I have a way to reduce the impact of this incident.."

. . . . . . .

Back to Seth, he didn't know yet that the Marine had a grand plan for him.

Currently, he was in his room, enjoying the feeling of finally being free from Crocodile's grasp.

Crocodile has been defeated and had been sent to Marine's headquarters. His parents' business was no longer suffering a harsh attack from a competitor and rather was blooming hard.

Seth initially thought things would be a lot harder for him. Luckily, he had made the right decision to bring Ace with him. Without Ace, Seth was sure that he didn't have sufficient firepower to deal with Crocodile.

Talking about Ace, Seth had finished his deal with Ace. He had told Ace about Sabo being in the revolutionary army, and soon Ace departed from Alabasta saying that he would look for Sabo.

' System, please display my current status.'

A lot had changed since Seth had first come to this world. He had done a lot of things, and to be honest, he started to feel accustomed to this world.

Seth could say that this wasn't really that bad compared to his previous boring life.

The only problem was sometimes he felt his parents just loved him too much. After knowing that Seth had worked with Ace to deal with Crocodile, his parents almost went mad, saying that Seth should not do something dangerous anymore.

If he was bored, he could just spend all the money he wanted. Heck, his parents even said that even if the Holzberg family were to get bankrupt and needed to start over, they wouldn't really care as long as Seth was saved.

And here he was, his parents gave him another huge lump sum of money, increasing his net worth to one billion and five hundred belis.

A pretty surprising gain, Seth could say. However, the gain didn't stop there yet.

Inside Seth's room, Nico Robin was looking back at him with a charming smile.

" So, what's your plan for the future, the new Baroque Work leader?"
