"Do you feel better?" Maise asked in a whisper, her lips still near Rowan's. 

"Yes." He said. "Only because you're here." 

Maise smiled at that. He accepted to be treated with magic. With her magic. And didn't complain when he woke up. 

"I'm sorry, my love." He said, caressing her face. "I… I won't inter.. interfere with your… magic." He said and Maise could see how deeply sincere were his words. He wanted to continue, but she put her finger on his lips. 

She said and kissed his lips again. Her hands went to his neck and Rowan pulled her to him by the waist. She was sitting on top of him. 

"I love you, Maise." Rowan said. "I'm sorry for being an idiot sometimes." 

"Indeed, you are." She said and smiled. 

"I want to marry you." After saying that, he tried to kiss her again, but she refused. Rowan looked at her with pitiful eyes. "You don't..?"

"I am already engaged. And so are you."
