Chapter 44: Chapter 44: Escape

Soleil POV

It’s been a week since I’ve been kept prisoner against my will. Had I known coming to Kline would have resulted in me being locked away in Kline’s house, I would have never bothered.

Yet, here I am.

Kline mates with me every day, sometimes more than once. What I once longed to cherish has now turned into a recurring nightmare. I don’t know what I ever saw in him.

Oh, right. I saw a king.

Every day, Kline comes home more unhinged than the last. He’s slipping. I’m not sure what has him so frayed at the edges, but I find it odd since he constantly tells me he’s won.

Today is different, however.

Kline bursts through his door, hair a mess and frantic. He has trained me well, and like a ‘good little girl’, I lie down on the bed and spread my legs for him.

He’s obsessed with impregnating me with his child, and I wish more than anything I didn’t have to bear this monster’s children.
