Three voices say one is mine. And then it occurs to me, that those voices were distant. Where am I? What am I doing?
"He is awake." Comes Norah's voice.
Sally disagrees. "No. Let him be."
Norah says, I can hear the amusement in her voice. "As I was saying. He was mad when…"
"Why are you two talking into my ears," I ask them and try to open my eyes.
"Don't open them. It will be of no use." Norah says.
Sally laughs and says, "We should leave."
"No," I yell and try to sit up. When I manage, I look around the room and find Norah and Sally staring at me, hands on their hips. They don't seem happy to see me. I look around the room and then back at them.
