Chapter 45: Her Knight in Three Piece Suit

She had two things in mind when Nate's thankfully handsome face appeared through the hole in the wall.

Either to kiss him or to kill him.

"Why do you bring a freaking lightsaber with you?"

"Why not?" Nate cheerfully answered.

The mafia in his three-piece suit expertly swung around his red-lit stick in hand and took a final pose; standing with his chest puffed up, fingers running through his hair to muss it up and show his forehead for dramatic effect, while the lightsaber in his other hand shone a reddish hue that struck his heroic smile – that actually looked more like a villainous smirk.

After waiting almost an hour for him, Keira was done with his theatrical performance.

"O the love of my life, Keira Hawkins," Nate brought his toy sword up and moved it to strike downward, "I came to save you!"

Staring deadpanned at him, she flatly told, "You said that, yet you pointed your sword at me."
