Chapter 45: The Colony 5

Matthew was panting after he finally managed to beat a black bear. His hand wiped the rest of the bear's blood around his mouth. Matthew's eyes slowly returned. He then looked at the dead bear in front of him.

"How? Did you enjoy it?"

Sigmund's voice made Matthew immediately divert his attention from the black bear in front of him. He then laughed softly at Sigmund.

"It's not bad either," replied Matthew. He then glanced at the middle-aged man walking next to Sigmund. The man was wearing a dark brown cowboy hat and had a tattoo under his lips.

"Let me introduce you to Alo," Sigmund said to Matthew.

Alo smiled as he looked at Matthew. "It feels like I haven't seen a young person like you in a long time."

Alo then chuckled while turning his attention to Sigmund. "It seems like fifty years have passed, and I have never seen a young person come to this place to hunt. Right?"
