Chapter 16: My Mission is to Take Good Care of You

Jack was heartbroken when he saw Lily in tears. Just now, he did not speak up much, because if he did, Rebecca would be even angrier. 

He wrapped his arm around Lily's shoulders and comforted her. "Don't worry. Everything is fine. Don't cry. We'll stay at Hilton Villa for now."

"But my mother has disowned me…" Lily said, her eyes listless.

"It's going to be fine. She'll return to normal after her anger has subsided."

"We should plead to Grandpa. As long as the Young family takes us back in, my mother wouldn't be angry, right?"

"I think it's pointless even if we ask Grandpa for help. He has made up his mind to kick us out of the family."
