Awk-ugh-ah-uh. I grunted inelegantly, slapping the duo of wolves clawing at my body. The midnight black bulky hound reached with its canines for my collar, while the nimble gray wolf irritated my torso, piercing its talons into my short-haired pelt.

AHHH! D*mnit, it hurts, even worse than it should have, because she pierced through the bruises my husband had inflicted upon me. The plum pockets of blood that amassed under my skin had been impaled again, leaving the membrane of my cartilage elastic and fluid. It was like the skin which had been peeled off a mango: structureless and pulpy.
