Ling got excited when the battle between the two rankers transpired.
"This battle... It's so interesting!"
The archer fired the three arrows, and each one of them had different effects. For him, it was the best way to stop the swordsman from engaging.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
The first arrow landed on the surface as it was not purposely aimed at the sword. To be more specific, when the arrow made contact, the entire battleground was surrounded by thick mist. Yes, that was the [Arrow mist] skill, allowing the enemy to block its vision, at the same time, to have limited movements.
After that, the second arrow was perfectly aimed at the swordman's legs suddenly an elastic thing that looked like a rope tangled his legs. With that, the swordsman fell to the ground, yet, his gaze doesn't lose in front of him, knowing there was another arrow heading to his current location.
It had a swift and keen sound which made him put on the defensive buff he had just to minimize the damage he might receive. At this point, he was aware it was impossible to dodge the attack in his current position. Why? The arrow was rapidly coming at him, plus, the sound was the only clue he had. If he made a bad judgment here, there was a chance the arrow would pierce directly on his forehead, causing an instant defeat. Now, the best thing to do here was to raise his defensive stats.
Boom!
In just a split second, a strong explosion occurred, adding more smoke which made them lose their vision within the rankers.
Hey, how can we watch the match with those smokes?
We are not in a good condition to complain since it was part of his strategy. To be honest, if I'm the one that stands in his position, definitely I will do the same thing.
That's right, we should just watch the match quietly, and wait for the result.
Swish!
Soon, a strong smoke faded away when a strong wind whirled in the middle part of the surface. To describe it, the smoke was going into the air as it seemed someone was manipulating it. Of course, it was the swordsman that used his wind element and his strength at the same time.
When the battlefield was clear, everyone could see that the swordsman can't manage to escape from the attack as he had scratches throughout his body due to the explosion.
The young man gritted his teeth, getting frustrated since that attack reduced his health power down to 75%.
Well, the advantage would start when who among them could land a hit as the ranker should mind now his health power to not deplete it down to 5%.
At this point, he started charging, knowing his opponent can fire numerous arrows in his trajectory. Aside from that, he was well savvied if he stayed in his position, he just simply gave more advantage to his opponent.
The archer class was the number class for dealing damage in mid-range and long-range combat. With their precision and firepower made their attacks even more deadly.
Swoosh!
[Dash!]
In order to stop the Archer's momentum, he started to run and circle on the surface. By doing this, he can't be easily targeted while thinking of a concrete plan on how to attain a closer distance.
Nevertheless, the arrow had an idea of what he was doing, so he continued to fire normal arrows, didn't care even few of them did not land a contact. Yes, he wasn't giving him room to think, knowing if he let him, the swordsman could immediately take over his advantage.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Every time he pulled the string, normal arrows released and landed at the location where was the swordsman standing earlier. Well, the Archer was playing safe as he was now conserving his mana.
Swoosh!
The swordsman slashed the five arrows coming right in front of his eyes, he managed to intercept all of them, but he didn't notice that there was another arrow aiming at his leg.
Swish!
He stumbled his footing a bit, enduring the pain given by the arrow. Plus, feeling the blood dripping on his foot.
'Just like I thought, this man is not an easy opponent. He's an experienced ranker as he now starting to immobilize my speed.' He uttered to his mind, then pulled the arrow pieced him. 'If that's the case, I should all out my power from now on.'
[Battle Rage!]
And all of a sudden, his entire body was coated by the red aura, releasing a tremendous strength that could see by everyone. With this skill, his speed and strength would raise to 15%, and at the same time, his sword made sharper and more precise to the point he can cut a large boulder in just a blink of an eye.
Here it goes!
The swordsman is getting serious in this battle!
Bring it on!
The entire platform was surrounded by the hyped comments of the rankers. They were raising their hands in the mid-air that had a brown pouch, showing their bet in this battle.
The Archer frowned his brows, noticing the huge changes in his opponent. He raised his guard, carefully watching the surroundings to avoid even a sliver mistake.
Swoosh!
Just like that, the battle started again as the swordsman charged toward him. It was quite different than the last time as he was way faster and attained a closer distance.
Their distance from each other was around 2 meters. Yes, it was the distance when Archer was having a hard time using his weapon.
[Fiery Slash!]
Suddenly, the slim sword of the swordsman was coated by the gleaming white light. And by just simply looking at it, the Archer was aware that this attack was dangerous.
Clang!
The sound of two metal colliding with each other was perceived by their ears after the Archer used his metallic bow to block the attack. Nevertheless, blocking the attack wasn't enough as the force slowly pushed him back. By this, it was clear the swordsman had higher strength.
[Corrosive arrows!]
While sliding the back, his bow transformed into a crossbow and now released numerous arrows. To be more specific, 3 arrows were fired every one second.
The swordsman kept swinging his sword, deflecting all the straightly coming at him, at the same time, trying to attain a closer distance. 'How this man could stay calm in this situation? Don't tell me, he's underestimating my ability.' The swordsman wondered, then swung his sword upward. "If that's the case, eat this!"
[Wind blade!]
Swish!
A keen wind magical blade slicing the marble surface appeared. With the sharpness and strength, they could easily tell it was enough to split the Archer's body into pieces.
Well, the Archer halt from his position and remained nonchalant. He then pointed his crossbow toward the swordsman.
Swish!
Suddenly, the swordsman had a broad smile on his face after seeing the arrow land on the surface not him. He admitted that he had no chance to dodge that attack from that position as he can't quickly regain his arms because of the [Wind blade] force.
"Finally you missed!" The swordsman cheered, seeing his magical wind blade was nearly to hit his opponent. However, the expression he had on his face faded away after a deep voice went to his ears.
[Blink]
"Everything has a reason, kid! You have the potential, keep going until you become one of the strongest rankers."
Swish!
As soon as he spits those words, the Archer quickly fired his arrow directly at the swordman's temple. As a result, blood scattered and the swordsman fell to the ground.
Ding!
A dinging tone spread throughout the area along with the blue screen, indicating the result of the match.
[The Winner is Xhi Hao! 46 wins no losses]
Hmm... It seemed like this ranker came from China due to his name.
Xhi Hao? He's the undefeated ranker or China, right?
Eh, how he could enter into our server?
Do you think it still really matters right now? If this man is that ranker, which means he doesn't all out in the fight.
How did the swordsman instantly defeat? It was so fast I didn't see what exactly happened.
Well, the rankers had an idea of who was this ranker as it was one of the famous rankers from China. Based on the information they had, this world was loved to battle rankers to measure his strength, not to earn popularity.
On the other hand, the rankers were clueless about how Xhi Hao claimed his 46th victory. Hmm... It was natural since they were in tha bad position, unlike the ranker sitting over the post that saw everything happen.
"What the hell is that man? He just suddenly appeared next to him by using a sort skill and didn't make any second thoughts to fire his crossbow."
To be more specific, the arrow was not for the swordsman, it was for a tool he have to use to activate the [Blink] skill. Yes, he have to mark the specific area where he wanted to teleport. Yet, it just had 50 meters radius distance.
"I want to fight..."
