"No, it's fine I do this every day even though he is a son of a wizard he is mentally ill and his mother is a criminal no one in the Betton family cares about him"
Two knight trainees walked out of a broken-down house. Yes, it was Leo's house.
For the past 5 years I acted as a child who went crazy seeing his mother getting killed this should be enough to get all the eyes away from me. I am 12 years old now it has been 12 years since I came to this world, I don't remember much of my old world but I am pretty sure that they did not have magic or knights. This world is like the old medieval European one with monsters, magic and knights. According to my research there are wizard apprentices from Rank 1 to 5 and after that is wizards from rank 1 to 5, knights are mortals who serve wizards they have a breathing technique which increases their strength and grand knights who has an authority of kings and are equal to rank 1 wizards and Aurora knights who can fight rank 3 wizards on equal ground they are nothing but legends and stories. Acting like a crazy kid was the correct choice at first the main house kept an eye on me to see whether I have any information on the magic item but after 5 years of acting crazy they gave up.
Of course, I got beaten up by knights and the brats from the main household. I found out that Ray my father was the 5th son of the Betton family a wizard family with the leader a rank 3 wizard. My father is the youngest and the weakest of all his family, he has a wife who is also a rank 1 wizard and two sons and a daughter. The sons have a B and C grade aptitude and the daughter have an A grade aptitude. The sons would sometimes come to me and beat me up but I have never seen the daughter. From those two idiots I learned that one could enrol in the academy at the age of 15, and the selection takes place at Holland port there we would be tested for potential if passed would be taken into different schools on the other side of the continent.
I am sure that I have potential although D rank but the problem is the Betton family I am sure that they would do everything in their power to stop me from learning magic and if they found out I have been acting they would kill me for sure. I have 3 more years until the enrolment I should start planning now.
I stood up my hair was long I never shortened it in 5 years I have black hair like my mother and brown eyes I was skinny because of my weak constitution. I cleaned myself up and waited until night I took my shovel and checked if anyone was outside, the place was empty I walked slowly to the village downhill. No one was outside, since wizards stayed in places with less people there was no one outside at this time. I walked to the village graveyard where my grandmother was buried. I saw her grave stone since Layla was a thief there was no grave for her. I started digging the grave I think what I am doing is a crime. Well, who cares of some mortals. After a while I found a broken wooden casket inside was a skeleton and a black ring. The ring was a magic item for space storage that knights used, it was a low-quality item provided to the knights in the Betton family, I am sure my mother didn't die for this I checked the casket again there was nothing else. I buried the soil back and made sure there were no changes on the grave. I took the shovel and walked back to the mansion it's not safe to look through the contents on the ring here.
I reached the house and made sure no one knew I went outside. I started looking at the things inside the ring provided the space of a closet. I took out everything there were magic stones a lot that's all. My mother stole magic stones from father for 7 years one by one wizard would not care about small number of magic stones but little by little there are almost 500 magic stones inside and a round marble with weird inscriptions is this the magic tool she stole. I heard this was found in an inheritance ground. What does it do should I apply magic but I don't know how. Should I drop some blood over it or should I try biting it.
I tried putting it in my mouth, hm that was useless.

Shit I swallowed it, what will happen to me now will I explode or would it come out when I go to the toilet. I am feeling sleepy my head hurts .
Suddenly I was in a different place, I saw an owl wearing clothes walking toward me, is this a dream or the effect of the item. The white owl was next to me it started talking
" welcome you are now the owner of the Library of the mad wizard, I am the librarian Olaf".
