Chapter 3: Naruto
I entered the Hokage office with Shino, and I could barely see Naruto from behind the bundle of papers.
He has become the Hokage just recently, about a year before. But I don't really see what is special about this position if Naruto, who has the highest stamina in the current ninja world, has to get so tired from the paperwork.
I looked at Shikamaru disapprovingly, who was smoking. I know that when he smoked after Asuma died was emotional and kind of cool, but to follow this bad habit?
I just hope Shikadai doesn't follow into his footsteps.
Noticing my disapproving gaze, he stopped smoking, and coughed to get Naruto's attention.
"Huh Shikamaru? Wha- oh Sarada-chan, and Shino, what happened?"
"Hokage-sama, she put her classmates in a genjutsu sleep on her very first day."
"Oh Sarada-chan? Who was it?"
"Boruto. He was being loud and annoying."
His eye twitched at that.
"Well, Sarada-chan, you can't use genjutsu on fellow citizens of Konoha."
"Uncle, it's Boruto. I have been putting him into sleep all my life."
"Wait!? When did that happen!?"
"Just yesterday he came to annoy me, going on and on about how he hates you and all for not being at home. I don't even remember my father, so he doesn't get to rant to me. My father and you may have been close, but that doesn't mean that I will babysit that spoiled brat."
Yeah, that annoying shit pesters me a lot. He has a sister and his mom with him everyday. And me, if it isn't enough that Sasuke hasn't come even once, I have to take care of an obviously tired Sakura as well.
Naruto looked sad and guilty.
"Sarada, regarding Sasuke-"
"Yeah. Some world saving mission. I guess he doesn't have chakra to teleport back here even every six months. Just tell him to stop being stupid and get an arm when he comes back. I will defeat him at his peak. I won't fight a handicapped person who chose to remain handicapped."
Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose, obviously fed up with this conversation. I have been annoying him by telling him everytime to tell Sasuke to get an arm and be ready to be beaten up by me.
He must have been telling Sasuke to come back, even for sometime because his daughter doesn't even remember him.
"Alright. I will tell Boruto to not bother you. But you can't keep using genjutsu on people. Shino, give her some punishment as you see fit."
"Hmm, then how about double homework for a week?"
"Fine. I will do that. Anyway, Naruto uncle, tell mom to take a break from hospital. She appears at home with her ghost face and doesn't have time to train me."
Double homework? I will just try to write with both of my hands to practice getting used to operating on both hands, even though I am right handed.
Naruto waved bye at me and said that he will tell Sakura to take some time off, and the whole drama ended.
Though next week, I put Boruto in genjutsu again.
It is fun. And I am addicted to it. I am sure Boruto 'fans' would have really liked to put their 'favourite' character into genjutsu, and I guess I do have that privilege after getting reincarnating as Sarada.
