Before anyone could react, the creature spoke, its voice echoing with a resonance that seemed to reverberate throughout the heavens.

"Welcome, travelers, to the gates of Heaven," it intoned, its words filled with a sense of solemnity and reverence.

Ren and the others exchanged uneasy glances, unsure of how to respond to the creature's greeting. They had heard tales of angels and divine beings, but to encounter one giant eye was new.

"Are you the guardian of this place?" Desira asked, crossing her arms and sizing the angel up and down.

The Guardian of Heaven's Gate nodded solemnly. "Indeed, I am the guardian of this sacred realm."
