"Good Morning Natasha" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Good Morning Chloe" said Natasha as she smiled.
"I have good news" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Ooh I am all ears" said Natasha as she smiled and she put her phone on speaker and she placed her phone on the desk on in her office.
"Well Mr. Chestnut came to the office, and well we sealed the deal, we agreed on a reasonable price, and now we officially own the land" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Or should I say that the company owns the land" said Chloe as she smiled.
"That is great news Chloe, thank you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Oh Natasha, you do not need to thank me at all, you did all the work and convincing, all I did was to show up and just agree with what was already agreed on" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Yes, that may be true, but you do that so well" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You are always so cheerful and friendly that anyone would like you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Aww you flatter me Natasha" said Chloe as she laughed.
"Because you deserve it" said Natasha as she smiled, she could tell you that the best decision she had ever made was hiring Chloe as her manager, she was just such a good, trustworthy and sweet person, which was rare to find nowadays, that was just her nature.
"I will tell you this Natasha, at one point Mr. Chestnut struck me as odd" said Chloe as she frowned.
"What do you mean?" asked Natasha as she wondered what Chloe was talking about.
"I found him as the Casanova type" said Chloe.
"Ooooh" said Natasha as she laughed, she did agree with Chloe, she thought that about Willy too, he was just too much with her, he was trying to flirt with her as well when they had met last Friday, which was why she withdrew herself from dealing with him, but she knew that Chloe could handle herself, she could be tough when she wanted to be.
"I cannot blame you, I thought the same way as well" said Natasha as she laughed.
"He… he is just too much" said Chloe.
"I had to stylishly show him my ring just in case" said Chloe as she laughed.
"Hahah" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Did he seem interested in you?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"More than interested, he was a bit… flirty" said Chloe as she shook her head, she could still not believe this, she did not think that she had misinterpreted his actions and gaze.
"And you won't give him a chance?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"No, no, no Natasha, no, Neil is the only one for me gosh" said Chloe as she shook her head and she laughed.
"Oh I know, I was just joking" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Which reminds me, what kind of relationship does he and Mandy have?" asked Chloe.
"I really don't know about that, why do you ask?" asked Natasha.
"Well I think they are dating or something, they seemed really close when he came earlier, and she even hugged him and greeted him with a kiss" said Chloe
"Wait really??" asked Natasha as this was a surprise to her.
"Yes really, but I ran back to my office quick before either of them could see me" said Chloe as she laughed, because she was no busybody.
"Hahaha" said Natasha as she laughed.
"But that seems really weird, I never knew they had any sort of relationship at all" said Natasha as she was still surprise.
"But I mean, it's not in our place to care, it is her life and relationship after all" said Natasha as she laughed.
"I agree with you on that Natasha" said Chloe as she laughed.
"Oh which reminds me, since we now have all the and issues settled, we need to progress with our plans of setting up a store" said Chloe as she looked through some files on her table.
"Yes, and I have already contacted a contractor" said Natasha.
"I spoke with him early this morning, and well he says that first he needs to get one of his team members to survey the land, and then after that we need some architectural insight on what we can possibly build on the land, and after that they can provide us with a cost estimate budget" said Natasha as she looked through her laptop.
"Oh alright, that sounds like a lot" said Chloe as she laughed.
"Believe me it is, because what I just told you does not involve the internal affairs pre construction" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Alright, so the cost estimate budget, does that include the contractor's fees?" asked Chloe.
"Well No… sadly it does not, which means that construction is way more expensive than we think" said Natasha as she laughed.
"What a shame" said Chloe as she sighed, this only spelt on thing to her, and that was expensive, it was true that they were doing this for the future of the company, but in the present it truly was expensive.
"Oh, I just remembered something" said Chloe as she smiled.
"What's that?" asked Natasha.
"Well I remembered that my husband has an architect friend, I am sure that he should be able to help us" said Chloe.
"I can call him if you want me to" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Oh, that sounds like a good idea, go ahead" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Alright then, I will contact him as soon as I can" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Okay" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Well I need to go now; I will call you later" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Alright Natasha, see you later" said Chloe as she smiled and Natasha ended the call.
"Chloe is always so funny" said Natasha as she laughed and she shook her head, she always felt like her mood had become somewhat lighter every time she spoke to Chloe, she was always so calm and cheerful that it just made her smile always.
Chloe smiled as she dialed another number and she smiled as her call was picked up in a matter of seconds.
"Hi honey" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Are you busy?" she asked.
"No, not right now, what's wrong?" came the voice of a man from the other side of the call.
"Great" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Can you please send me the number of your architect friend?" asked Chloe as she smiled.
"Okay, why do you need it?" asked the man.
"Well a friend of mine is looking to go into a construction project, and well the pre-construction costs seem very expensive, so I was wondering if your friend could do her a favour" said Chloe as she smiled and she explained.
"Oh alright then, I will send you his number" said the man.
"Oh thank you honey, you are the best *Mwah*" said Chloe as she smiled and she blew him a kiss over the phone.
"Are you going to pick up Ethan at school today?" asked the man.
"Well No, I can't I will be busy, so can you please pick him up?" asked Chloe as she smiled, she looked at all the paperwork she had to fill, it was so daunting, legal aspects were important as well in a business, and she had to go through them all one by one.
"Alright I will" said the man.
"Thank you honey" said Chloe as she smiled.
"Sir I need your signature on this document" came the voice of a woman under the background.
"I can hear that you are busy honey, I will talk to you later, Bye" said Chloe as she smiled and she ended the call and she smiled.
"Chloe, I have some documents for you to sign" came the voice of a young brown haired woman as she walked into Chloe's office.
"Oh thank you" said Chloe a she smiled and she collected the folders from the woman, which added more work to her already filled desk.
"Chloe, the staff are asking if they can go for lunch early? They say that they have finished with their work for the day" said the woman as she smiled.
"Well I don't think that they are getting paid to go to lunch early" said Chloe.
"Besides, there is always more work to be done, so tell them I say no" said Chloe, she could be very nice, she could also be as equally serious as well.
"Alright Chloe, I will tell them" said the woman as she smiled.
"Thank you" said Chloe as she smiled and the woman walked away.
"Imagine going to lunch early" said Chloe as she scoffed.
"Even I am not going to pick up my son from school because of all this work" said Chloe as she sighed, some people were just not serious at all.
