The Next Day.
"Daddy" said Joy as she looked at Dom as they all ate breakfast together.
"Yes my princess?" asked Dom as he looked up and he smiled at Joy as he drank his tea.
"Daddy, me and mommy are going to the park today, will you come with us??" asked Joy as she looked at her father with big doe eyes.
At the mention of Dom coming along with them Natasha suddenly looked up from her food and she looked at Dom as he looked at her.
He thought about it, and well Natasha had been in a good mood all morning, she had just ignored him and focused on Joy, she did not even glare at him, Dom was sure that maybe that was because she was in a good mood from seeing her father yesterday, and he was thankful for that.
But now his little princess had put him in the spot, and he did not want to say no to her, the cute look on her face, and then he began to think, why would be avoid spending time with his daughter just because of Natasha?? That was just unreasonable.
"Well alright my princess, I can come with you, I have nothing to do today" said Dom as he looked at Joy and he smiled, he had purposely cleared his entire day today seeing as he needed some time to himself to relax, and he knew that playing with Joy would do him some good.
"Yayyyyy" said Joy as she giggled.
"Mommy, daddy is going with us to the park" said Joy as she turned to look at her mother and she smiled.
"That is great my baby, so finish your breakfast first, and then we can go okay?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she smiled and she ate her toast as Natasha ignored Dom who was looking at her, she would focus on her daughter and her daughter alone, because she was her future.
"I am done mommy, can we go now??" asked Joy as she finished her toast as quickly as possible and Dom and Natasha looked at her as they both laughed.
"My Baby, you really are excited" said Natasha as she laughed, it was not even up to a few minutes and Joy had already claimed that she was done eating her breakfast.
"Yes Mommy, I want to go now" said Joy as she smiled and she nodded her head, she was more excited now that both her parents were going out with her, she was very, very happy, because they never went out together, because they didn't love each other.
"Alright my baby, go and wear your shoes and then we can go" said Natasha as she smiled and she shook her head, there was nothing she could do about her baby, she just had to take her to where she had promised her.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she pushed out the dining table chair and she ran up to her room which made Dom and Natasha both chuckle.
Dom looked up to look at Natasha, and she ignored his gaze as she stood up and she left the dining room, before she would have found every avenue to be close to him, and now it would seem like she was disgusted with him, she always wanted to stare at him, and look at him, but now she avoided his gaze as if it was like the plague.
Dom sighed, what could he do? And what was he thinking? Was this not always what he wanted? To finally be left alone, and yet now when he was actually left alone, he felt somewhat empty.
"Ahh Alfred, we are going to the park" said Natasha as she caught sight of Alfred walking to the dining room and she smiled at him.
"Oh alright Madam" said Alfred as he smiled and Natasha walked up the stairs to go find Joy.
"Young Master, are you going to the office today??" asked Alfred as he walked into the dining room and he cleared the dining table.
"Well No Alfred, we are going to the park today" said Dom as he smiled.
"Young Master, you mean you and the Madam and Joy are all going to the park together??" asked Alfred as he was surprised.
"Yes Alfred, we are" said Dom as he smiled and Alfred was left shocked, he thought that Natasha was going to the park alone with Joy and not with Dom.
"Alright young master, have a nice time at the park" said Alfred as he composed himself and he smiled.
"Thank you Alfred, we will" said Dom as he smiled and he walked out of the dining room and he saw Natasha and Joy walk down the stairs as they were holding hands.
"Daddy" said Joy as she let go of Natasha and she ran to meet Dom and he smiled as he carried her.
"Are you ready my little princess?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Mhmm, yes I am daddy" said Joy as she smiled and she nodded her head.
"Alright, let's go" said Dom as he smiled and he opened the front door as Natasha followed behind them.
…
"My baby, please be careful don't get hurt" said Natasha as she looked worried as Joy and Dom ran like little children into the playground.
"Oh don't worry, she will be fine" said Dom as he turned to look at Natasha and he smiled at her as she shook her head and she watched the playful father and daughter duo as they ran to the swings.
Natasha sighed as she sat down on the nearby bench, the estate's park was really quiet and peaceful today, in fact they were the only people here.
"Weeeee, weeee, faster Daddy, faster" said Joy as Dom pushed her on the swings.
"Okay my princess if you say so" said Dom as he laughed and he pushed Joy even harder.
Natasha smiled as she looked at her baby enjoying herself, she was a child, just so free and innocent, but Natasha's moment was interrupted when her phone suddenly rang and she removed her phone from her pocket and she smiled once she saw who was calling her.
"Good Morning Doctor Freddie" said Natasha as she smiled and she picked up her call.
"Ahh Good Morning Natasha, I hope you are well" said Doctor Freddie.
"I am well, and yourself?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"I am the same as well" he said.
"I have just finished attending to your father" said Doctor Freddie.
"Oh, that was quick… and??" asked Natasha as she was very eager to hear if her father was truly better.
"And well, as he says his headaches have ceased" said Doctor Freddie.
"That is wonderful news Doctor" said Natasha as she smiled, she was very relieved, her father was truly getting better.
"Yes, so I have changed his medication plan, in order for him to withdraw from his medication little by little" he said.
"I have reduced his pills by half, and over time, as we slowly reduce the dosage, he would no longer need to take his medication again" said Doctor Freddie.
"Oh thank you, thank you so much, you don't know how truly happy this news makes me feel" said Natasha as she smiled, her father was always a very healthy man, and well ever since his accident, he had been confined to a wheelchair and he had to start taking daily medication, Natasha knew that was not easy for her father at all.
"You do not have to thank me at all, your father is such a strong man" said Doctor Freddie as he smiled.
"Yes… I know" said Natasha as she smiled, there was no doubt in her mind about that.
"Well Natasha, I just called to put your mind at ease, I need to go now" he said.
"Oh that is alright, I understand, and thank you once again" said Natasha as she smiled and the call ended, she was just so happy.
"Mommy, come and play with us" said Joy as she called out to her mother and she smiled.
"Oh I am sorry my baby, but I am so tired now" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Let your mommy rest my princess, before you get eaten by the tickle monster!!" said Dom as he laughed.
"Ahhh, No no, no daddy" said Joy as she laughed and she ran away from her father as he chased after her and Natasha smiled.
Dom was so caring, he was such a caring person, and she was sure that was one of the reasons that she once fell in love with him, she had mistook his care for love, which was not so, but now she knew better, she was not going to fool herself, no, not again.
"I caught you" said Dom as he carried Joy up which made her squeal in surprise.
"You didn't think that you could outrun me now did you?" asked Dom as he ticked Joy and she laughed.
"Mommy help me, help me" said Joy as she laughed and Dom let go of her as she ran to Natasha.
"My baby I'm sorry, but I am going to tickle you as well" said Natasha as she laughed and she tickled Joy which made her giggle so Joy ran away.
Natasha sighed, she wished that everyday could be as calm and peaceful as this.
