Chapter 148: I Need To Tell You

Mariano and Calixto looked at each other, grimacing at how battered they looked. Their clothes were drenched with blood and Mariano's shirt was torn in half, he was almost naked. 

Mariano shook his head in disgust and grabbed the groaning newly turned vamp with his skin blistering from the sun. He was told to take cover but he was so bloodthirsty that he did not listen and still ran into the forest, hunting a deer. 

They were supposed to be all going home. If this one just listened like the other four who all ran back to the mansion and hid in one of the empty garden sheds in the garden away from the unforgiving sunlight. 

With Calixto's coat covering the newly turned Arland, Mariano grabbed Arland under his armpit and ran back to the mansion with Calixto close to their heels. 

"Stop!" 

Mariano stopped and pushed Arland to the wall where there was a shade and looked at Calixto. 

"What?"
