Chapter 3: Chapter 2 - First Day
August, 7 2000.
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
The beeping sound of the alarm clock continue to beep as a 11 years old boy tries to remain sleep.
After a few more attempts to ignore the alarm, only to fail, the boy woke up and turned the alarm off.
The boy has a short dark brown hair, green eyes and a perfect jawline.
With his facial features, anyone can say that evan at a young age he's a heartthrob.
After sitting on his bed for a few minutes, he stood up and entered his room's bathroom.
He went to the sink and then splashed some water on his face before slapping his cheeks hard, to wake himself up.
"Another day, a new beginning."
After that, he started to take off his clothes before he opens the shower, and let the water fall on him.
He took the soap and started to clean his whole body with it.
What the boy didn't notice is that, there's a glowing symbol on his back.
It would appear and disappear for a few seconds before it completely disappeared.
Soon enough he finished showering, and so he is now brushing his teeth.
"Drake wake up your siblings or all of you will be late for school!"
As soon as the boy, named Drake, got out of the bathroom he heard his mother's voice from downstairs.
"Yes mom!"
He yelled back before he stared to put some clothes on.
And when he's done, he went out of his room and knock to the door on his left side.
"Hey Derek, wake up! It's the first day of school we need to go soon!"
After a couple more knocks the door finally opened and then another boy come out of it.
The boy that came out has the same facial features just like that of Drake's.
If a highschool girl were to pick between the two of them, she'll probably pass out because of how hard it is to choose.
That's how much of a lady killer their looks are, even at a young age.
The boy, named Derek, is his older brother.
To be specific, Drake's twin.
Derek stared at Drake, straight in the eyes, before he spoke with excitement.
"I'm already done preparing for like two hours ago, so let's go!"
Drake then smiled and nodded at him.
"Good! The first one to get to the dinner room takes the front seat in the car!"
And as soon as Drake said that, he started to run towards the stairs, not even waiting for his twin's response.
On his way to the stairs, he knocked on two more doors.
What came out of those doors is a couple of young girls.
On the right side of the hall is a seventeen years old teen with fiery blond long hair with mature looks and blue eyes.
And on the other side is a five years old girl who has a short brown hair, cute looks, and sleepy greenish eyes.
"Drake I told you not to knock on my door again!"
The teen girl, named Laura, shouted as Drake continue to run down the stairs.
"Good morning, peter."
Drake ignored his older sister's shout and instead he greeted his uncle, who's already seated on one of the chair.
"Morning Drake."
Peter greets back with a smile, he has a fair skin with light green eyes and red lips.
His looks and facial features doesn't lose to any of his nephews.
After their greetings, Drake, too, took his seat.
Soon enough Drake's siblings and mother all arrived at the dinner room and they started to eat.
Talia Hale, the alpha of the Hale family or Hale pack, is seated on the end of the table while the others were on each sides.
She became the alpha after ending her husband's misery nine years ago.
It all happened when he was shot by a bullet which was made of silver and mountain ash, it was also bathed with a yellow wolfsbane, at the exact time of total lunar eclipse.
After gaining the alpha status, Talia killed the hunter and fed it's body to the dogs as a revenge.
That accident happened at Peru, but that's all in the past now.
However, even after almost a decade, no one knew what happened to that hunter or how the previous strongest alpha died.
That is because Talia, herself, cleaned up all the evidence of that accident.
And as of right now, Talia's family is now living peacefully in this small city name Beacon Hills.
The city where Talia and his husband met as well as where they began their family.
They came back here eight years ago, a year later after her husband died.
As they eat, Talia looks at her family.
On her left is Laura and Cora, while on the right is Peter, Drake and Derek respectively.
While eating, Laura would glare a death stare at Drake from time to time but the later just ignored her.
Derek on the other hand seems like he didn't took his brother's childish bet bet seriously, instead he is too excited to see his new classmates.
Meanwhile, Cora is still quite sleepy as her head would fall up and down from time to time, with her eyes still half closed.
"Wake up sweetie, you need to eat if you want to play with your new classmates later."
Talia gently wake the sleepy hale up with a lovingly smile.
"Yesh, mamyy..."
Cora answered drowsily, as she force herself to wake up and eat.
After all, who wouldn't want to play with their new friends.
Yes friends not classmates, as the youngest Hale already considered them her friend.
After they finished eating, they all took their things and hurriedly head towards the car.
"Kids, are all of you ready?"
Talia asked as soon as she entered the car gaining a nod from all of them.
"Good luck on your first day of school, my beloved nephews and nieces."
Peter said as he waves his hands from the house as they leave.
And after 30 minutes of driving, they finally arrived at the Beacon Hills Highschool.
"Bye mom."
"Bye mom."
Drake, Derek, and Laura all bid their goodbyes as they headed to the school hall.
"Bye sweethearts!... Let's go sweetie it's your first day in elementary too."
Talia yelled back before turning towards cora, who's excited for her new classmates too.
"Yes mommy!"
And so after giving the school one last glance, Talia drove away.
