Spies + Familiar
"What are you all doing here?" I asked the group of people including the bull person with genuine curiosity. Expressions of confusion covered their face before quickly fading.
The group did not reply instead they glared at me and readied their weapons. 'There should only be 4 species as far as I know on Dicathen.' it didn't take me long to connect the dots.
Based on their covert behavior and strange appearance it's obvious that they aren't from here; at the very least not from the Elven kingdom. "I'm sorry Little boy now that you have seen us we cannot let you live" the bull person spoke up.
I did not reply I instead gestured for them to face me. This gesture enraged the bull and he charged toward it in a split second. His blade reached my neck only for it to stop centimeters from, my skin.
His eyes popped only so slightly before continuing his onslaught of slashes and strikes. To no avail they each stopped before ever making contact. "How the hell can a lesser avoid my attacks!?" He screamed out.
'Fuck! Fuck!' the bull person thought. 'I have to use my magic. If this continues our cover will be blown'
As we continued our fight I could feel the magic condensing on his back. I flew into the air to avoid the 2 meter-long spikes erupting from the ground. However, it did not stop more and more spawned from underneath the surface.
I utilized the energy around me to float around the spikes. At first, I thought this was going exciting finally being able to fight after so long, but this guy is far too weak. I miss having strong opponents. I sighed reminiscing about my enemies.
'Purple' a small beam of destruction flew in the air and pierced the bull person and his lackey's heart. His face was petrified. A little wind magic combined with some cursed energy is extremely deadly.
I started investigating their corpses and soon found the strange markings on their backs. Each mark looked different than the other. "Hmm, interesting" I noted. "Hey whose there!" A male voice yelled. I quickly destroyed any evidence of a battle and left the alley.
"I could've sworn I heard a battle" the male who was one of Eleanoir's knights. "I must have had one too many beers," the knight said. Upon closer inspections, you could see bright red patches on his face. the knight stumbled out of the alley and back into the streets.
"I wonder if these people have anything to do with the "Vitra" the kidnapper mentioned. 'What to do now? I have another playdate with Kath today but that isn't until later. I can't go back to the castle and see my sister all over Arthur. So back to my question what to do now?'
My eyes glimmered in excitement as I thought of what to do. "I'm going to find a great beast and tame it" I stated proudly. 'Well, that might be easier said than down'.
I made my way to the beast glades. In less than 20 minutes I found the border of the glades. It took another 6 hours to make it to the center.
"This is perfect" I felt some strong power when I entered; a presence stronger than anything I've seen. This means that there is a beast that poses some sort of threat to me.
As I walked the blades I saw many interesting beasts a tiny humanoid onion that could grow to the size of a house. A giant mammoth eating the strangest fruit. The mammoth was cream-colored and had a different shape than normal. I picked up the fruit it resembled a coconut but it had honeycombs filled with jelly.
It tasted weird and good. or had a sweet and sour taste almost like a lemon and a strawberry had a baby. The inside of the fruit itself had a white color.
It did not taste like anything at all but had a pleasant "bumpy" texture. When mixed with some of the jelly it was amazing.
I stored some of them in one of the rings that I bought in Xyrus City. The mammoth seemed annoyed as he watched me during the whole process. The Mammoth let out a grunt and continued with his business.
I continued my venture through the forest while observing the wildlife. I had avoided all the more hostile creatures they each were probably stronger than any mage on Dicathen.
As I grew closer to the presence I felt when I entered the number of beasts thinned. It got to a point where no beasts were around. The presence felt more powerful and thick.
I then came upon a giant waterfall it was without a doubt the prettiest thing he has seen. The water was practically see through
As I walked through the waterfall I felt the cold water heal my body. The experience felt amazing it was like the water was refreshing my whole body. I will make sure to swim here soon.
A small cave opening awaited me past the fall. Inside the cave were bright blue crystals that resonated with The mana
For an hour straight I walked through the cave collecting some samples of crystals. Until I came upon the presence itself. It had the shape of a Chinese dragon but not the features.
First of all, it was blue and semi-transparent. There were two other very distinct features its tail had a small opening and its head was built like a mushroom. The dragon was also a baby! No longer than 3 feet.

"You're interesting," I Said to it. The dragon studied me 'You're pretty interesting too.' it said back in a male childlike voice. "You can talk?" I said shocked. 'No I'm sending my thoughts to you,' it stated matter of factly. 'you're pretty fascinating.'
'I could say the same thing to you. Nobody no matter how strong can survive at the center of my territory. No less a human child.'
'Hmmm hey, do you want to become my familiar?' I asked very casually. Expecting it to decline or to want to do some duel before according. It thought about it for a second before replying. 'Sure' it said. "Why did you accept?". 'I guess I'm just bored of being in this cave' it stated nonchalantly.
"You continue to intrigue me". I said. It floated towards me and spread itself across my chest and back. "Neat," I said. 'By the way, what's your name' it asked. "Satoru, what's yours?" I replied. "I don't have a name. I don't even really know what I am," it said a bit sad.
"How does Seiryu sound?". "Not bad I like it" it replied.
