Sean hadn’t been this nervous before a fashion show since his official debut when he was twelve. All he had to do was walk out and look pretty. If the outfit was terrible, it wasn’t his fault. No one criticized models for bad fashion, only the designer who’d made it.
It was an easy, low stakes job, all things considered, as long as he didn’t fall.
Tonight was different.
Isaac would be out there tonight. Sean knew, because even though he hadn’t responded to a single message in weeks, Isaac had kept texting him, and he’d told Sean when he and Beck left his apartment.
He should have told Isaac it wasn’t necessary, but a selfish part of Sean wanted to see Isaac one last time. Besides, he’d been too much of a coward to reach out to Isaac in any form over the last few weeks.
He wished this night had never come, that they could have stayed in limbo forever. Sean wasn’t ready to face him, or have this be the last night he ever saw Isaac.
