Chapter 10: Punished

As soon as they arrived in the penthouse, Luca faced Juliette. His ocean blue eyes were icy and enraged.

"Come to the study."

Juliette had to gulp down saliva to maintain her composure. Deep down, she was about to break down out of fright.

"W-Why?"

"Why else?” Luca coldly raised an eyebrow. “You're getting your punishment."

Luca left her and went somewhere else. Juliette was too afraid to get inside the study, but she had no choice. If she defied Luca again, it'll only make him madder.

So Juliette headed to Luca's study and waited for him there.

Like every other corner of the penthouse, the study's interior had a dark shade. There were shelves of books inside. A coal-black couch was in place, an ebony glass table, and a black leather chair in the middle.

The windows were shrouded with ash-grey curtains.
