Chapter 23: Ch 23 : Tashigi
The place that Rei was going to take Tashigi to was obviously the sword shop that Zoro had visited here.
Being with Tashigi the whole day, Rei didn't just use that chance to get closer to Tashigi. He also tried to get some info from Tashigi, and from there, he knew that the straw hats hadn't reached Logue Town yet.
Maybe because the Navigator's role was replaced by the swordsman in green hair, their journey had been delayed for some period. Nonetheless, it was not Rei's problem. He was just happy that he could take this chance to get some fortunate encounters that should belong to the original straw hats.
Entering the sword shop, Rei and Tashigi were greeted by the rude face of the owner.
" Just wait a minute. I'll get you a gift."
Rei shrugged as he ignored the unfriendly owner.
Tashigi was a bit confused, but she still followed Rei quietly. After all, as long as she was with Rei, she felt the night was worth it.
Inside the sword shop, the thing that quickly took Rei's attention was the box full of scrap swords. It was not like he couldn't purchase a new sword, but since he could get this good sword with ease, then why not.
Putting his hand inside, Rei started rummaging through the swords in the box, and soon enough, he took out something from the box.
A moderately curved katana with a white edge and a distinct blue Hamon that has the appearance of flames. Its tsuba is golden and shaped like a rounded cross pattée.
One look and even Rei could see that it was not your everyday swords. However, what made Rei excited was the appraisal of his system.

Yup, this was none other than the Sandai Kitetsu that Zoro got. It was a very good sword that in fact, in the later period, Zoro used this sword to permanently wounded Kaido.

She was very surprised that Rei was able to find a sword this good in this kind of shop. However, her face immediately turned grim as she remembered the legend of a curse that was enveloping this sword.
' Everyone that hold this sword would die.'
Tashigi shuddered as she remembered this legend and tried to persuade Rei to give up on the sword, but Rei just turned his head around with a smile.
" Don't worry, I have my own way!"
" ??? "
' System, I want to purify the sword!'

' Sure!'
Before Tashigi could respond, the sword was already enveloped by bright white light.
It was so sudden that the phenomenon not only attracted the attention of the two but also some passersby.
For some reason, both the shop owner and Tashigi could see the image of the curse being purified as Rei held it in his hand, and it made her begin to wonder about the real identity of the man in front of them.
The process took a few seconds, and when it was over, Rei looked at them with a bright smile on his face.
" See, it is not that hard, right?"
" ..... "

Fast forward, Rei and Tashigi left the sword shop.
However, there was something a bit different now.
On Tashigi's side now were three swords. Her original Shigure, Sandai Kitetsu, and lastly Yubashiri.
Rei had taken all the opportunities that should have belonged to Zoro and given them to Tashigi.
His current priorities at this time were to quickly increase Tashigi's affection, and it seemed that he had been pretty much successful.
The two's fingers intertwined with each other as they walked through the night in the Logue Town, with Tashigi having a blissful expression on her face.
To her, all that happened right now was just like a fairytale, and every girl dreamed of a fairytale.
Slowly but sure, Rei had embedded his name deep in Tashigi's heart, and now was the time to reap the benefits.
As they walked together, Rei brought Tashigi to a small dark alleyway.
It was a very shady place, and there was a lot of mysterious sound coming from it.
Tashigi gulped his saliva when she was dragged by Rei here. Her heart throbbed very fast, but somehow, the rejection was almost close to none.
After a few minutes of walking, Rei arrived at the place he wanted.
A very secluded place where no one could see the inside of.
He put Tashigi against the wall, and as their face grew very near, Tashigi's face started to redden.
" Rei.. what are you.."
" I want you, Tashigi!"

Under the bright moon, the two kissed.
At the very beginning, Tashigi looked very much impassive at the kiss. But as time went on and Rei began to put his tongue inside Tashigi, Tashigi slowly became intoxicated in the kiss, and she started to respond to Rei's attack actively.
