Alex Wayne POV
I look at the members of the United Nations and calmly say:
"Then do you mean that if I quit, you will give it to this person who in the future could have destroyed the world?"
My words surprise everyone present.
"What do you mean Alex Wayne, are you trying to say that we would make a mistake by giving power back to Mr. Trask?" the secretary general asked.
"Tell me one thing, do you know about Mr. Trask's acts?" I did not answer him but I asked him another question.
"Get to the point, Mr. Alex" an annoyed deputy general secretary said.
"I can see from your attitude that you don't know" I told him.
Pulling out my cell phone, I place it on the table. I activate it in front of everyone and a holographic screen appears in which a video is played.
In the video, Trask can be seen performing what appeared to be an autopsy on a person who was still alive.
The place was filled with screams that belonged to the person Trask was performing an autopsy on the video.
An uproar ensues at the United Nations headquarters.
"Turn that off immediately, Mr. Alex Wayne!" the secretary general said.
I turn off the video and say:
"The man Trask was torturing is a mutant, now tell me Mr. Secretary General, would you entrust this type of person with the security of a country where 89 ℅ of the inhabitants are mutants?" I told him with a cold look.
The members of the United Nations fall silent.
Some of them are cursing Trask for involving them in this matter.
"Besides, that's not what I meant when I said that this bastard would be the culprit of our extinction"
"I was referring to his stupid creation called Sentinel" I told them.
"It's a lie, my creation has the purpose of ending the mutants" an altered Trask said.
I just smile, this idiot is giving himself away.
"Silence, Bolivar Trask!" the secretary general yelled.
The secretary general is fed up with this idiot, since this idiot has caused the credibility of the United Nations to be affected.
"Please continue, Mr. Wayne" the secretary general said.
"Then I hope you don't be alarmed" I told them.
I look at Psylocke and say:
"Do it Psylocke, open a portal"
Psylocke nods and opens a portal, through which two Sentinels emerge.
The secretary general is alarmed and asks:
"What are you trying to do Alex Wayne?"
"Don't worry Mr. Secretary General, with this I'm going to prove my point" I replied.
So I start with my explanation:
"As you can see these two sentinels are not the same, the one on the left is bastard Trask's original design and the one on the right is that Riri Williams has modified"
"Let me tell you that Riri Williams' Sentinel has been modified for different jobs, from reconnaissance to heavy duty and its mutant tracker has been removed, which no longer poses a threat to mutants"
"While bastard Trask's Sentinel has the Mutant Tracker"
With that said, I look at the Sentinel and say:
"How many possible mutant threats do you find in this place?"
The Sentinel's eyes scan the place and it says:
"Possible mutant threats on site total 68℅"
The people in the place are surprised, most of the people there are not idiots and they understood what the Sentinel meant.
It meant that 68℅ of the people in the place were possibly mutants.
"That's impossible, you must have manipulated it, in this place not everyone is a mutant" Trask said.
"You're right about that, not everyone here is a mutant, so why did the Sentinel recognize them as such?"
"That's because the Sentinel's mutant tracking system has evolved and now also detects the recessive mutant gene in normal people" I said.
Everyone in the room was shocked, because they got my point.
