Chapter 101: A new friend?

"You are stuck with me for an eternity, Princess. No one will hear your cries here except for me!"

Aylin kept on walking. She didn't even bother to look back as she answered in a loud and clear tone, "If you think that you can make me cry, then you are delusional." 

A swift shadow of anger swept across her face as she mumbled under her breath, increasing the speed of her walk, "Damn it! I really want to run away from here. How dare he even think of treating me like his plaything!"

She was burning in anger that she didn't even notice that she was almost near the cottage. The willow tree was still protecting the cottage like an old man. In the dim and silvery light of the crescent moon above, it was looking more alive and enigmatic. Instinctively, Aylin stopped under that tree. There were still a few guards around the cottage but the bench under the tree was empty.
