Chapter 96: Bastard!

"I wanna talk with my Father!"

Her voice was fragile and shaking.

Clenching her fingers into tight fists, Aylin murmured in a miserable voice. Her sense of loss was beyond tears. A flash of wild grief ripped through her. She was speechless. Ryder had the Peace Treaty as the proof of his claim. The papers were real, engraved with the stamps of both Arcelia and Fintan. 

'So, it is true! It means- Father agreed to-'

Ryder answered with staid calmness, "Sure, King Richard is waiting for you in the Fintan. Can we leave for there now?"

Still holding the papers on her hand firmly and looking down at the ground, Aylin nodded her head briefly. Her throat ached with defeat. Her head bowed and her body slumped in despair.

But, Ryder looked composed as a victorious and tiny smirk was lingering on his lips. While running his fingers through his platinum hair, he ordered loudly, "Prepare the palanquin for Princess. We will depart."
