Chapter 59: Secret of Nala!

"Is that Brother Rio? What is he doing with Dan?"

Aylin found their late night, secret meeting vaguely disturbing. A tumble of confused thoughts and feelings assailed her. The moonlight was bright enough to recognize them even from far away.

Aylin instantly looked around to check their surroundings. There was none except for them. Not even a single guard or villager. Without thinking anything, she ran inside her bedroom and tucked her sword into her belt. Then, while tying her robe properly to hide it, she ran down from the second floor.

Aylin was staying on the top floor of the inn and others were on the ground floor. When she reached the ground floor, she found the whole corridor empty and pin-drop silent. Only a half-asleep guard was dozing off, sitting next to the entrance door of the inn building.
