~Third POV~
After the conversation with Albus Ironwood glanced at Ozpin when he finally left his sights.
Next losing the calm Headmaster facade he glanced at his oldest ally to Oz he began to talk to him about the idea, "Ozpin. Surely you can't be serious about having him go towards this request with a group of Huntsmen."
Ozpin glanced at Ironwood disagreeing with him as he gave out his own reasons, "Afraid so Ironwood. I'm doing what I need to be done. Plus mister Goodwitch is an interesting investment."
Ironwood eyed Ozpin with narrow eyes but sighed at the sight of Ozpin's actions as he tried to make the Headmaster reconsider, "Sigh… I don't know what your goal is Ozpin with this but… Consider giving this mission to the people of Atlas to get – "
Before he could continue Ozpin began to interrupt him.
Interrupting his words he began to reply back to Ironwood as he glances at the outside window, "Now James. I know you want to do right correct?"
Unsure of where this was going James nodded his head at this but then Ozpin began to glance at Mountain Glenn as he spoke, "Then you must know this is Vale Kingdom issue. Because one mad man caused the downfall of Mountain Glenn with many deaths… this is somewhat personal to me."
Lying through his teeth Ironwood bought it but it was also truthful of what Ozpin has said as he thinks to himself, 'While I don't agree to lie to General Ironwood about this… Merlot needs to be either put down or captured. I better hope Qrow would do his end to make sure…'
Like that he began to call on the two people for the job as he called them out from the speaker getting one, "Would Glynda Goodwitch please meet me at the office."
Getting one of them he began to get his Scroll as he began to call on his phone he began to see the number named called 'Dusty Crow' on the label.
But not before he glances at Ironwood with his usual smile as he began to talk to James, "Oh. I almost forgot. James. Would you please get miss Penny as Albus put it an android with a soul on this mission? She seems to be very fond of Albus."
Surprised flashed the Atlas Headmaster's face as he began to reply somewhat surprised by the question given, "Wha… Uh. Ahem! Ozpin sir I have a quick question was by chance Penny here in Beacon? More specifically the nurse room by chance?"
This time it was Ozpin's turn to raise his eyebrow at the question as he nods till he finally smiled getting the idea, "I'm sorry what? What do – Oh! So that was Penny huh? She seems very…"
Ozpin paused at this trying to find the right words for this as he recalls the events happening with a sudden intruder in the nurse's office.
He recalls many broken windows breaking an entry.
Ozpin recalls the events of walls being broken down with a fight of sorts in the bed.
Next was the recent one fresh from his mind when he saw Albus and what he thought of Penny snuggling under the sheets of his bed when he was asleep.
Blinking a bit he thought for a while making the headmaster of Atlas nervous till he finally found the right words to say to the General face, "… Unique. Pure. Odd? I'm sorry General but Penny seems to be… just as socially awkward, especially the damage to my poor school windows. Sigh…"
Ironwood twitched his eyes at that.
He used to Ozpin messing with his group at times to ease the fear and tension they have to feel against Salem and her inner circle.
Sighing his breath at this he began to reply to Ozpin with some words of reassurance out of his pocket as he responds, "Sigh… I'll have the payment for your windows fixed as soon – "
"Along with chocolate mix and Coffee."
Ironwood's eyes glared at Ozpin at that as he innocently whistles at this as he made his comment known as Ozpin spoke, "Be sure to pay me back with the windows along with chocolate mix and Coffee. Glynda had the 'great' idea of lowering the budget."
Ironwood hearing this calm his annoyance down as he replied to Ozpin in what was called a respectful manner to him, "S-sure… I'll be sure to pay for it of course. I need to make sure Penny needs firsthand experience in the field. With someone she knows would be best."
Ozpin nods at this taking a sip from his mug.
But soon frowns at it being empty as he gestures to Ironwood with a small reply, "Can you make it soon."
Ironwood swears at times that Ozpin is messing with him so long as the topic of chocolate mix or coffee is involved especially where the budget goes at times to those items.
*Beep*
*Beep*
The funning around was put to the side as Ozpin gets his Scroll as Qrow answered to the call as he called in a gruff voice, "Augh… Ozpin what's the idea of calling me here…? I was having a nice time taking a swig of my mug. What's the call for? Hiccup!"
The sounding drunk Qrow at the end of the Scroll Ozpin began to reply to him in a serious voice getting him stupor, "Qrow. This is a very important mission I have you to handle for. In fact it will involve with the person helping us track down Cinder's identity as we speak. He requested a mission."
Ironwood's eyes flashed as he glances back and forth to Ozpin and Albus that already left as he connected the dots as he spoke quite shocked, "What…? Ozpin did you – No rather did that student of yours just help you but how!"
Taking a glance at the side to his ally he began to reply with the same seriousness of his voice being carried out, "For that exact reason. He's a student but sooner or later the Queen would figure him out sooner. I need to Qrow to judge him if he's ready to know the 'Queen' the enemy we face. And his Semblance would surely be a boon as well."
Hearing this for the first time Ironwood then began to question what Ozpin meant, "Wait? You want us to bet our chances against her with his help?"
Letting James finish Ozpin nods at this as he began to briefly keep this a secret with his member as he replied, "Correct James. At least information gathering in combat, however… is questionable at best. But with this, he'll gain experience from it to grow… 'stronger' is the word I guess."
Ironwood raised his eyebrow at his choice of words Ozpin but doesn't go too much into it as the reply from Qrow brought them back to his attention with him listening to Ozpin's request through the Scroll, "So I'm babysitting some kid Oz wants to take watch for? Hiccup! I'm with the Tin Man here isn't that a bit off even for you to bring someone younger in our group?"
Ozpin then began to reply to Qrow being mysterious as he spoke as well as give Qrow a direct answer that made his day, "True. It may be the forces of the unknown telling me but his potential is sound and incredibly useful. After all his a young man on his team with three girls. One being your niece Ruby?"
*CRACK*
A crack was seen on Ozpin Scroll as he frowns while Qrow becomes soberer when he learned of the news as he spoke, "I think I'm about to get myself together. I'll be there to meet their leader personally. I want to what he has been doing with my niece. This is Qrow out and about."
*Click*
Ironwood chuckles a bit from the scene as Ozpin glances at his scroll with a small frown shown as he pointed it towards Ironwood with a pleading look, "Oh there goes another one. I swear Qrow Misfortune just seems to get better by the day. Say James you – "
Interrupting Ozpin as Ironwood took the elevator he began to excuse himself as he left giving some words to Ozpin, "No worries Ozpin I'll have penny over soon. Could be a good experience and no I'm not paying for your scroll."
*Clank*
Like that the elevator door closed as Ozpin sighs at his broken Scroll and regrets not asking James fast enough to pay for it.
