Chapter 35: Chapter 35: The Witch and Champion (3)

~Albus POV~

Entering the grass fields of the Emerald Forest with Pyrrha this time as we both examine our surroundings as I use <Observe> skill to look around for any Grimm nearby as I see nothing out of the ordinary.

[<Observe> LEVEL UP]

[Update on <Observe>.]

Glancing at this I began to see what the update was about as I view it in my skill list.

---

<Observe> (Active) Lv.14 Exp: 1.0%

Through continuous observation, a skill to observe objects, situations, and persons were generated allowing the user to quickly gather information. The higher the skill, the greater the data obtained.

Update: Can now see the reputation, affections, and small details about the character!

---

Huh?

That certainly seems handy. Let's see it work.

<Observe>.

< [Champion of Mistral]

Pyrrha Nikos Lv.105 (5250/5250 HP)

Pyrrha Nikos graduated at the top of her class in Sanctum Academy before moving to Vale to attend Beacon Academy. She also mentions that she has never experienced a meaningful relationship due to her status and talents.

Reputation with Albus [20/100]>

So that was the big update was about then. Glancing at her and my reputation with her being 20. Maybe I should bone more with the team to get them to raise up?

I wonder if there is a reward for doing so other than having a cute girl hanging around me for some time I suppose. Shaking my head at this away for the time being I spoke to Pyrrha, "Ok. Now that we are here how about we search around the part for Grimm."

Nodding at this we began to go towards where the Grimm are located are… a good thing my MAP managed to pick on some hostility coming our way now the question is who is coming over in groups?

Upon carefully moving around I found my answer as it was a pack of Creeps. Very fast and very ugly Grimm. At least to me and the Rose sister's opinions at least.

We both take a careful glance at them in the distance.

Creeps lack any animal equivalent. These Grimm have no forelimbs, only hindlimbs. Said hindlimbs are dual-clawed and are inverted at the knee joints. They also possess tails, which are used for combat.

Their skulls are rather stubby and have four eye sockets. Like all Grimm, they feature a dark black color, with white external bone all over the body, alongside deep red eyes and accents.

And from the looks of things they have an Alpha Creep with them. Alpha Creeps appear almost identical to normal Creeps, only with larger spikes coming out of their back and more bone plating over their bodies.

<Observe>.

[Grimm]

Creep Lv.24 (2400/2400 HP)

They feed for Humanity and Faunus end.

[Grimm]

Creep Lv.10 (1000/1000 HP)

They feed for Humanity and Faunus end.

[Grimm]

Creep Lv.45 (4500/4500 HP)

They feed for Humanity and Faunus end.

[Grimm]

Alpha Creep Lv.107 (10700/10700 HP)

They feed for Humanity and Faunus end. Train its pack.

[Grimm]

Creep Lv.65 (6500/6500 HP)

They feed for Humanity and Faunus end.

Ouch.

This might take some effort on our end to get a better victory, especially against the Alpha Creep as I motion towards Pyrrha as she readies her weapons, "Pyrrha. Be extra careful around the Alpha Creep. In levels, it's about on par with you. The rest are pretty strong around it as well."

Pyrrha nods at this as she questions me about what to do next here she asked curiously as she spoke, "I see. In that case, what's the plan of attack here? We need to be careful with them because of their speeds."

Yeah, those Creeps may look ridiculous. But their ramming of headbutts is very dangerous and deadly.

[<Super LUCK> in effect!]

[Weakness: Cut off the legs or crush them for critical hits!]

Well, well LUCK once more is the greatest again... for stating the obvious that is...

Placing my sights on the Grimm in question I began to explain to Pyrrha their obvious weakness to her as she nods her head but asked me in concern, "If that's the case then how do we stop their movements?"

That's true… hmm…

Thinking for a bit it was time I start to unlock more powers of telekinesis other than the basics. Holding a nearby leaf as Pyrrha looks confused I began to focus on it using Telekinesis as she looked confused at me.

She didn't question it as I focused on the weight of the leaf itself as I need to change it by thought. Or to be more specific the gravitational field on the leaf as it suddenly fell down rapidly adding weight then suddenly going up lightless at the same time.

While I may be using telekinesis most people aren't aware that is that Gyro-Telekinesis isn't all that different from the Telekinesis that most people are aware of.

[Through continuous use of controlling the gravitational field using the <Telekinesis> skill a new skill has been created.]

[Skill: <Gyro-Telekinesis> has been learned]

Eureka.

Skill List. <Gyro-Telekinesis>.

---

<Gyro-Telekinesis> (Active) Lv.1 Exp: 0.0%

Due to being related to the Goodwitch Family bloodline, they all have the heritage semblance to have the ability to use <Telekinesis> to be able to manipulate gravitational fields, a skill to manipulate gravity.

Add gravity element into attacks. Cost 5 AP per second.

---

Perfect. Just the skill I needed for a time like this.

Gyro-Telekinesis the ability to mentally manipulate gravitational fields, allowing one to increase or decrease the effects of it around any desired area, to make objects extremely lighter, heavier, or to even crush things by compressing them with intense gravity.

Pyrrha seeing my grin plastered on my face began to glance in the confusion at me as she asked me having a plan, "Albus? From the grin on your face and the way the leaf moved something tells me you gained something from this?"

Nodding my head I began to tell Pyrrha I have the ability to manipulate gravity now with a thought as she looked very surprised as she replied to me, "What! Is this how you did the shadow ability against Cardin this week? Man… Yang is right that power of yours is very unfair."

Ha.

Agreeing with Pyrrha on that I focused more on the Grimm of Creeps as I replied to Pyrrha about my plan to send away the Alpha Creep while she takes care of it while I distract the others.

Next, I explained to her about the title of Supporter to her that she has a passive 20% increase of her strength as it will only take a few seconds for her to deal with the Alpha Creep while I take care of the Creeps.

Or at the very least provide ample time for her to finish the fight I can be busy providing support. And I have a few more Dust crystals in my inventory just for this and if that fails use my <Dark Glyphs> to get some more time.

Take care of the weakling as I made sure to look at my status to see if I have a good chance here.

Status.

Hmm… taking a quick glance at it I think it's best to raise my points now than save some for later. Depending on the Creep's speed and need for more firepower of my skills how about… this!

---

Name: Albus Goodwitch

Class: The Gamer

Title: Supporter

Level: 26 Next Lv.: 28.0%

HP: 1300/1300

AP: 650/650

STR: 58

AGI: 58

VIT: 58

INT: 62+10= 72

WIS: 58+10= 68

LUCK: 51+20= 71

Points: 40 -> 0

Lien: 20,000

---

Feeling the boost I gained from this little endeavor and having the best chance to stall more than chance to gain more than I lose. For every 12 seconds, I regen about now 68 AP while every time I force them down is 5 AP per second I only have about 130 seconds if I use it all like that.

For every second I waste in 12 seconds forcing the Grimm in place using <Gyro-Telekinesis> is about 60 AP lost in those 12 seconds but I regen faster thanks to my <Super WIS> passive skill cutting the regen time to 12 seconds thanks to the 20% buff.

And every 12 seconds I regen 68 AP on one of the targets I have all my AP restored if it was one on one but going for the critical damage would do a lot of damage. Give Pyrrha some time to defeat the Alpha Creep as I deal with the small fries.

Placing my hand over her shoulder I grinned at her giving her the confidence as she glances at the Alpha Creep as I reassured her, "No worries Pyrrha. I have faith that you will win this fast in time to help. I have full trust in you."

+20 Reputation with Pyrrha [40/100]

So that's how it works huh?

Pyrrha glanced at me happily as she responds to me with a happy grin on her face, "If you place that much trust in me Al… then I won't misplace your judgment."

Good girl.

Now that the Grimm are coming close I managed to push my hand forward at them while being equipped with my weapons as I prepare…

*SWOOSH*

"GRR…?!!"

Almighty Push using <Telekinetic Push/Pull> pushing the Alpha specifically on the legs sending it flying as Pyrrha rushes over to the Alpha as the others began to target her.

Hell no!

Almighty Push!

*SWOOSH*

[<Telekinetic Push/Pull> LEVEL UP]

Just like that the remaining four Creeps in the pack were pushed back but also dealing critical damage on the legs making sure I get their attention and deal extra damage as they crash on the trees or rocks.

Pushing the other Grimm to the side I have to deal with some high-level enemies time to get to work!

Game on.
