Kenshin, Ichiro and Keiji were unaware of the surveillance, enjoying a walk around the city, and had fun visiting many shops. Kenshin bought four silver pendants on a chain, giving 1000 re for all this. He wanted to impose a formation of protection against material influence on them, and distribute it to Aya and her two sons.
Kenshin himself already had a similar pendant with a formation applied, he spent almost a whole day installing such a complex formation on such a small pendant, but the result was worth it. This formation could protect him from three thrown kunai, or from ten blows of Ichiro in full force, distributing kinetic energy from the blow throughout his body, forcing him to recoil, without visible damage.
Kenshin guessed that this formation would not save him even from one blow of the Jonin in full force, but he assumed that it would at least stop one fireball from the Genin.
After half an hour of wandering around the city, the trio had lunch at a local diner, and Kenshin and his two sons moved towards the house. Their shoulder bags were half filled with various things, but due to the weight loss formation, the weight of the bags was practically not felt, and the trio quickly moved away from the city for ten kilometers, their "native" forest was already visible on the horizon, but Ichiro suddenly froze, rooted to the spot, and looked back.
"Father, we are being persecuted!" he mentally declared in a serious tone.
"What? Being chased?!" Kenshin thought with surprise, and looked back. At a distance of 500 meters, a figure was rapidly approaching them, rapidly shortening the distance.
"This is Konoha's shinobi!" said Ichiro, peering into the distance. Thanks to his improved eyesight, he could see what Kenshin did not see.
"What are we going to do, Father?" Keiji asked mentally, becoming serious.
"We act according to the circumstances. I hope he just runs by," Kenshin said, and the trio continued walking at the same pace as a minute ago.
"Hey you, stop!"
Thirty seconds later, an irritated, slightly breathless voice rang out.
Kenshin and his two sons turned around, looking at Genin. Kenshin put on the most ridiculous and friendly smile, playing the role of a village fool.
"Greetings, Mr. Shinobi. Do you need something from three brothers? We are simple peasants, but if we can help the Lord in some way, just tell us!"
Kenshin selflessly declared, and Ichiro and Keiji nodded.
Konoha's young Genin appraisingly looked at the "three brothers" as if pondering and solving a difficult question, but then his eyes glittered, and he, having obviously decided on the question that tormented him, said:
"Follow me."
And involuntarily he jerked his head towards the small hills located five hundred meters from this place.
The strong young man was thinking about whether to rob this trio, or rob and kill, and at the last moment chose the second option. He decided to exclude possible troubles in the future, simply leaving no witnesses and victims.
Kenshin clearly noticed exactly where this Genin ordered them to go, and immediately understood everything. Initially, he was even ready to give all the money, just not to have to fight with a full-fledged Konoha Genin, but now he had no choice, and Kenshin mentally commanded "Now!"
Ichiro and Keiji, standing to the left and right of Genin, instantly threw their shurikens at him, and Kenshin lunged with kunai, but at the last moment Genin jumped back, and Kenshin's kunai did not reach its goal, as did Keiji's shuriken, but Ichiro's shuriken stuck into his lower back, bogging down in the body for a good two centimeters.
Landing on his feet, genin instantly grabbed two kunai, one of them instantly throwing at Kenshin, hitting him right between the eyes, but the kunai was stopped by the formation, and the kinetic energy from the blow was evenly distributed throughout Kenshin's body, causing him to lose his balance and fall on his ass.
Kenshin immediately broke into a cold sweat, but he immediately recovered. He knew that he did not have time for a hitch, and he needed to help his sons as soon as possible.
After kunai's throw, Genin was a little surprised when, seemingly in front of a hundred percent corpse, an invisible defense suddenly flickered, and kunai was stopped. Not paying attention to this, he grabbed the second kunai, and jumped towards Ichiro, wanting to finish the battle as quickly as possible.
Ichiro and Keiji had already taken out their kunai, and were moving synchronously towards Genin, Ichiro was closer, so he immediately entered into close combat, masterfully repelling the attacks of the enemy kunai, but just by the time Keiji approached, Ichiro almost missed the decisive lunge, but at the last moment managed to repel it, and immediately received a kick in the chest from a U-turn, flying several meters away.
While Kenshin was recovering and coming closer, at his very low speed, Keiji engaged in close combat with the enemy, and at first successfully fought back, but due to lack of experience he quickly found himself at a disadvantage, and after a few blows he was wounded in his left arm.
Genin Konoha, seeing that his other two rivals were approaching, made a dangerous move for himself, and rushed forward. Keiji reacted instantly and made a lunge towards the enemy who recklessly rushed at him, but Genin took Keiji's kunai on a thick leather handcuff of his left hand, and the tip of the kunai pierced the handcuff, plunging deeply into genin's arm, at that moment he did not care about anything, made a retaliatory lunge, and the enemy kunai pierced his chest not Keiji, who managed to react.
Everything happened so quickly that Kenshin, who was running towards the fight, and Ichiro, who had just risen, could not believe what they saw, the enemy's kunai entered the heart of their native Keiji to the hilt.
An animal roar came out of Kenshin's mouth, and he instantly accelerated, attacking Genin from behind, but for the enemy, Kenshin's speed was nothing more than a joke. He reacted instantly, and abruptly turned around and kicked Kenshin in the stomach.
An invisible barrier instantly flashed at the place of impact, but it also instantly went out, absorbing half of the force of the impact. The remaining half was enough to throw Kenshin three meters back.
At this very moment, numerous moments of time spent with his brother flashed before Ichiro's eyes, as if in slow motion. He remembered the first time he was given this little bald lump to hold. I remembered how little Keiji asked for pens, I also remembered how I helped little Keiji get his favorite honey candies. And now this kid was standing with a pierced heart, looking his older brother straight in the eyes, and a second later collapsed to the ground.
Ichiro's eyes suddenly closed, and when they opened, bloody tears flowed from them, and the entire iris of the eye was covered with red, and a small black "comma" appeared on the pupil.
"What?! Uchiha?!"
Genin exclaimed in amazement, ceasing to walk in the direction of Ichiro.
Ichiro did not answer, and only growled, instantly rushing forward.
Genin hastily took out a spare kunai, and only at the last moment managed to repel Ichiro's attack. He did not stop attacking, growling furiously, and not letting Genin do anything but go on the defensive.
Kenshin, who had risen to his feet and was planning to rush into battle again, suddenly froze in place when he saw the eyes of his youngest son. He also saw that Ichiro was pushing the enemy Genin without any problems, preventing him from counterattacking.
Ichiro's reaction speed jumped to a whole new level, and he easily saw all the movements of his enemy. After a few dozen attacks, his kunai still found its target.
When Genin made an attempt to retreat and jumped back, kunai Ichiro suddenly slashed him across the throat. The shocked Genin, who landed on his feet, collapsed to the ground a few seconds later.
Kenshin froze in amazement when he saw the last blow that ripped open the throat of the enemy Genin. Kunai Ichiro definitely shouldn't have hit the target, there were at least thirty centimeters left from his blade to the throat of the opponent. But at the moment, Kenshin didn't care about anything except Keiji lying motionless.
