Chapter 12: Chapter 12 Formal Divorce
They had been together for so many years from falling in love to getting married. Today, she finally could breathe a sigh of relief. Ashley felt much better.
Apparently, neither Jake nor Kate had expected that she would have such a side. In their eyes, Ashley was a serious and old-fashioned girl. They were stunned for a moment.
Ashley was unwilling to stay any longer with them, she walked away.
Holding the divorce agreement in her hand, she walked out of the office building. The warm sunshine made her sigh. Was this the smell of freedom?
"Du, Du."
She closed her eyes to feel the sunshine. Everyone in the company didn't know what happened and said hello to her. She heard the horn of a car and looked over, it was Lucas and his assistant.
He rolled down the window and looked at her affectionately.
She walked over, opened the door, and sat down next to him. There was a distance of about half a person between them.

She pursed her lips and didn't say anything more. He had understood and let go of her arm and sat down.

She didn't know why she felt love from his sincere eyes and words. Was it her illusion? Or did he keep pestering her because he liked her?
After dinner, Vicky brought the staff to them. She was not surprised at all when she saw them standing together and greeted them politely.
"Mrs. Ashley, Mr. Lucas." Vicky took the suitcase and was taken over by Lucas, but not touched by Ashley.
"Martin, get in the car." He ordered his assistant and driver.
"Thank you, Vicky." "Thank you for bringing me these things from such a long distance," Ashley said with a smile.
"It's my pleasure. I'm your assistant."
Vicky was still so calm. A trace of guilt emerged in Ashley's heart. She promoted her to this position, but she left the company. She knew that Jake would not arrange her well, but what could she do.
"I have left the company. From now on... You will have a new boss."

Lucas held her hand and returned to the car. He could still see the back of Vicky from the rearview mirror.

Ashley took a look at Vicky and saw many of her shadows.

She had to start her business. When the company needed staff, Vicky was definitely a good choice. If she was willing to, she could give the best conditions.
