(Snake shoots a beam of light energy at the giant Serpent, as it hits the serpent its upper body crashes to the ground)
Josefu: Snake come on let's go while it's down
(Josefu dashes grabbing Eva, Snake and Josefu leaves Thorn Hallow. after a few minutes they arrive back to their horses they left at the entrance of the enemy territory)
Josefu: (Breathing heavily) man that Serpent was something else
Snake: (breathing hard) yeah that was no normal serpent, we need to hurry though
(Snake looks at Eva)
Josefu: yes, she has some pretty serious injuries, she may be poison I don't know let's go
Snake: let's wrap it before I went to stop it from getting infected
(Snake bandages Eva's arm then Josefu and Snake set off heading back to the rebellion stronghold with Eva. after a day of riding they take a short break setting up a campfire. Snake And Josefu talk to each other)
Snake: Josefu, so why did you hide all this time Josefu?
Josefu: well I wasn't hiding I was training myself, I wasn't mad at you guys even though I was it wasn't the main reason. I was mad at myself for not being strong enough to save Makiru
Snake: we waited for you but after a month passed we knew you weren't coming
Josefu: Makiru and I grew up together, losing him at was like losing a part of me at the time I was filed with so much anger, so going off on my own was the best option for me at the time.
Snake: we could have helped
Josefu: it was something I had to do
Snake: ....
(While Josefu an Snake chat Eva wakes up holding her arm)
Eva: Ow...!?
Snake: Eva be careful you are injured
Josefu: what happened I thought you had a platoon with you?
Eva: (Grunting) I did but right as the Thorns arrived we were forced to enter Thorn Wallow l, the beast eat most of the soldiers of the thorns didn't get them.
Snake: Damn
Josefu: how many thorns were they?
Eva: about 40 they just came in waves
Josefu: damn that many
Eva: by the way when did you come back Josefu?
Josefu: ....I'm not staying I am only helping get you back
Eva: What?
Snake: it's fine Eva don't worry about it
(They continue on and the next day they arrive back at the Rebellion stronghold)
Josefu: (Sigh) Finally
(As they walk through the entrance Lucy appears)
Lucy: you guys are back, were are the rest of the soldiers?
Snake: they area dead, the thorns killed them
Josefu: Eva's arms is in bad shape and she might be poisoned, you should have here treated
(Lucy signals over a soldiers to take Eva to get medical treatment)
Snake: while we was there Josefu and I had to fight a giant Serpent in thorn wallow to save Eva
Lucy: Giant Serpent...that must be why The brass clan doesn't go there much
Josefu: yes, it was quite strong its thick scales took some hits from us and did nothing to it
Lucy: mmmhmm
(as they continues talking Josefu suddenly feels the presence of someone watching him)
Josefu: !?
(Josefu turns around looking but the presence disappears)
Snake: what is it?
Josefu: it felt like someone was watching me but its gone now
Snake: alright
Josefu: (Sighing) whelp its time I set off, it was fun fighting with you again Snake, and Lucy I hope the Rebel forces gets the time to shine again...oh yeah can I borrow a horse from the stable
Lucy: yeah go ahead
(Josefu goes to the stable to get a horse he begins to leave the stronghold heading northeast, a few hours later in the middle of the forest riding his horse)
Josefu: (yawning) having a horse makes traveling a lot easier I don't have to waste energy to dash around
(all of a sudden the head of Josefu's horse gets cut off making him crash into the ground)
Josefu: woah! what the hell?
(Looking up Josefu sees people in the trees, Xegren and a unit of his soldiers he stares down with a sinister smile)
Xegren: Bahahaha its time for the hunt to begin!!
Josefu: so it was you I felt back then
Xegren: yes, that was my was my warning before the hunt
(Xegren's unit draws their weapons)
Josefu: (thinking) Damn this isn't good theses guys are crazy strong, but Xegren is the main problem
Xegren: This will be fun, we won't kill you...Yet that is GET HIM!!!!
(4 soldiers rush Josefu jumping from the trees)
Josefu: Dammit come on!
(approaching fast Josefu gets him in the stomach but recovers quick then dodges the others soldiers attacks)
Josefu: (grunting) Raijin's Flow!
(Josefu skin turns blue increasing his physical defense)
Xegren: Having trouble already!!
Josefu: (thinking) these guys are high A rank, but their physical strength is low S rank
(Josefu gets in a ready stance preparing himself)
Josefu: I will not be capture or die here!
(Josefu releases his energy then rushes the four soldiers beginning to clash while dodging)
Xegren: mmhmm he is doing better than I thought against four...the rest of you join them
(joining the fight four more soldiers tries to attack Josefu)
Josefu: !? Raijin's Domain!!
(a storm of red lightning strikes down hitting some of the soldiers forces them to give Josefu space, using this moment Josefu runs away)
Forsaken soldiers: We have to go around the lightning!
Xegren: HURRY UP!!! he isn't getting away
(To Josefu dashing through the trees jumping)
Xegren: Omega!!
(all of a sudden a purple flame starts to burn everything and its rapidly approaches Josefu at a fast rate)
Josefu: !?
(Josefu jumps up above the tree line to dodges the flames)
Josefu: !?
(waiting for josefu in the air a forsaken soldier kick Josefu back down crashing into the ground)
Josefu: (Coughing up blood) dammit!
(2 soldiers appear in front of Josefu and they both punches him sending Josefu flying through some trees)
Xegren: (Smiling) Wait here
Forsaken Soldiers: Yes sir
(Xegren walks down the destroyed path towards Josefu, over to Josefu)
Josefu: (Coughing and breathing hard Josefu thinking) why area they so strong?
(looking up Josefu's vision is blurry as he hears footsteps approaching him)
Xegren: Hahaha...look at you, you aren't strong enough...to weak
(Xegren lean down picking Josefu up by his clothes)
Josefu: (grunting)
Xegren: Let me tell you something before we take you back
(Xegren pulls Josefu close a whispers in his ear)
Xegren: all those test that killed your friend...what was his name oh yeah Makiru, we made the king run the test and I say it was a success Bahahaha!!
Josefu: !?
(Josefu gets angry)
Xegren: I don't feel sorry he was only one of many test subjects, he just happen to be a good toy soldier
(Josefu thinks back to Makiru)
Makiru: (Coughing blood and crying) I'm...sorry if only I was...stronger I could have done more...back then
(Makiru Dies...back to Josefu)
Josefu: NO!!! I will not lose here!!!!
(Josefu grabs Xegren's arm and lightening strike down onto both of them)
Xegren: AHHHH!...!?
(Xegren is stunned)
Josefu: (Breathing heavy) THUNDER GOD KING STRIKE!!!
(noticing the attack Xegren tries to move a bit but can't dodge in time hitting his shoulder)
Xegren: urgh!!!
(Josefu continues to dash away covered in injures, Xegren's soldiers go to him)
Forsaken soldiers: Sir!!!
Xegren: what are you doing GO GET HIM!!!
(Xegren releases killing intent at his soldiers)
Forsaken Soldiers: Yes Sir!!
(The soldiers disappears going after Josefu)
(To Josefu)
Josefu: (Breathing hard) I have to find somewhere to hide and lay low
(Josefu runs looking around stumbling while hopping through the trees)
Josefu: is that a cave!?
(up ahead Josefu sees a cave by some ruins)
Josefu: I have no other option
(Josefu rushes into the cave as it start to rain, about 5 minutes later the forsaken soldiers appear)
Forsaken Soldiers: where did he go!!?
Josefu: (whispering) I have to lower my presence
(The soldiers begin searching around the ruins and cave for Josefu)
Xegren: Keep looking he couldn't have gotten far with those injures
(One of the soldiers walks towards the cave that Josefu is hiding in)
Josefu: ….
(Josefu sweats nervously)
Xegren: Hey!
(The solder stops turning around)
Forsaken soldier: Yes?
Xegren: Come on were checking another area
Forsaken soldier: ok
(Xegren and his soldiers leave dashing away, Josefu lets out a sigh of relief falling to the ground from exhaustion)
Josefu: (Breathing hard) I...can't move(thinking to himself) that was intense
(Josefu rolls over a falls unconscious for a few hours, waking up later in the cave)
Josefu: mmhmm...what!?
(Josefu tries to get up but his body aches)
Josefu: ow...my body hurts all over
(Josefu sits back down)
Josefu: I need to recover my strength
(Josefu continues to rest, over to Xegren)
Xegren: DAMMIT!!!
(Xegren hits one of his soldier making him fall to his knees coughing)
Xegren: WHERE DID HE GO!!
