Josefu: Rebellion stronghold?
Arulich: yes, the new rebel forces
Josefu: so why are you here?
Arulich: Lucy sent me here to look for you, I was on my way to drake valley. Lucy want to know if you can help
Josefu: how did she know I was here, I don't recall getting in touch with them this past year
Arulich: right now we are battling with a group called the Brass Thorn Clan, in the pass few months towns have been destroyed by poison
(Josefu puts his sword down)
Josefu: ...Leave
(Josefu begins to continue his journey but Arulich being persistent stops him)
Arulich: How can you not help aren't they your friends?
(Josefu suddenly releases a wave of killing intent)
Josefu: Friends?
Arulich: !?
Josefu: I cut ties with them a year ago when they left me in the capital, my revenge is my only goal right now and I have my own problem
Arulich: (nervous) please help us just this once
(Arulich bow his head pleading to Josefu)
Josefu: …..Alright then I will go with you but...I want Lucy to agree to a deal though
(Josefu retracts his killing intent)
Arulich: ok I will lead you to the stronghold
Josefu: ok but for me to help she has to agree to my terms
(a few days later Arulich lead Josefu north early in the morning the arrive at the Rebellion stronghold)
Josefu: so this is the new rebellion stronghold looks like
(Josefu looks around seeing people all over)
Arulich: yes, we have been getting supplies from the neighboring towns to keep everything going
Josefu: Just take me to Lucy
Arulich: ok
(a few minutes later after walking through the main entrance, Arulich leads Josefu into the fortress to Lucy's office. Arulich arrive to the door and knocks on it)
Arulich: Lucy, I have brought him
Lucy: let him him in!
(Arulich opens the door, inside the room is Lucy, Snake and Shinya)
Lucy: Thank you Arulich, you may leave
(Arulich leaves the room shutting the door behind him)
Josefu: so, what is it that you want?
Snake: tsk I don't think we should have brought you here
(Snake Walks up to Josefu standing in front o him angry looking down at him)
Lucy: chill out snake I asked him to come here
(Josefu releases killing intent in the room shocking them)
Josefu: I came here to tell you that this is the only time I will be helping, after this don't send anyone to look for me again
(Josefu stops his Killing intent)
Lucy: (thinks to herself) is this really Josefu, he had changed so much
Snake: ….
Lucy: alright
Shinya: (thinking to himself) he is a completely different person
Josefu: Arulich told me a little bit about what is going on with the Brass Thorn Clan
Lucy: good at least you know who we are fighting
(Shinya puts a map on the table)
Lucy: we have been fighting this Clan since we moved into this area this pass year
Josefu: mhm
Lucy: The Clans headmaster is Sonkar we meet once his brother Gonsu is the vice master a few days ago Eva lead a platoon near their territory. The battle was going well until the Brass Thorn clan sent their Thorns to the battlefield.
Josefu: Thorns?
Snake: Thorns are poisonous monster that kills itself by blowing up releasing a acidic liquid so its better to kill them from afar
Lucy: Right and Eva hasn't come back yet, I think she may have been hurt by the thorns
Josefu: so you want me to help you find Eva?
Lucy: yeah, her last location is only a 2 day ride, but I can't go because I need to run things here
Josefu: you have soldiers why haven't you sent any yet?
Lucy: we did but they did return, I want you to go with Snake I need Shinya here to help with other things
Josefu: if I do this that means you agree to my terms
Lucy: that is fine
Snake: ...Let's go
Josefu: alright
(Snake stares at Josefu before leading him out to the stable, moments later they get on the horses then set off. back to Lucy in her office)
Lucy: Josefu has changed souch over this year
Shinya: yeah, it's seems he doesn't want to be bothered
Lucy: Makiru's death really hit Josefu hard, plus he has been by himself this whole time
Shinya: true, that killing Intent though...
Lucy: It's was something else it felt like I was being crushed
(Back to Josefu and Snake ridi g on their horses to Eva's last location)
Snake: ....
Josefu: Snake, How deadly is the poison they use
Snake: So far we only know a little about their poison, when one of our soldiers got poisoned we called it weeping bane. It causes your blood to harden stopping the blood flow killing you within 2 hours.
Josefu: how can they use such a deadly poison without harming themselves?
Snake: I don't know we have been trying to figure that out, most likely they have a high resistance to poison.
Josefu: we should hurry then
(Snake and Josefu speed up continuing on without any stops)
Josefu: man, my butt hurts
Snake: well yeah we've been riding all night
Josefu: how close are we
Snake: about a hour away
Josefu: alright
(a hour later as they make their way they begin to see the forest turn from fresh green trees to dead and dried up soil almost like a wasteland)
Josefu: we must be getting close the forest has changed
Snake: yeah we are entering their territory be careful
(Looking around they sees small swamps and fogs)
Josefu: how can someone live in this area
(Moments later they arrive to Eva's last location)
Snake: ok let's split up and look for clues
Josefu: ok
(after a couple of minutes Josefu finds some tracks)
Josefu: hey Snake over here! I found some tracks!
Snake: let me see
(Snake goes over to Josefu)
Snake: these tracks are a few days old, whoever it was they went this way
Josefu: isn't that deeper into the Brass clans territory
Snake: yes but if it's Eva it's worth the risk..come on
Josefu: tsk..alright
(following a trail they soon see a sign post on the road)
Snake: this is bad this road is towards Thorn Wallow
Josefu: Thorn Wallow?
Snake: yes, it's a place the last we found fighting against the clan, it's even a place they dare not to step foot in there is a very large Demonic beast in this place
Josefu: what!? if that's the case then doesn't that mean that this isn't a great place to hide
Snake: well it's is, if you are getting away from the Brass Clan
(Snake and Josefu follow the road entering Thorn Wallow but after a few minutes they hear fighting in the distance)
Josefu: Snake you hear that?
Snake: yeah, come on!
(Hearing the sword of swords clashing In the distance Josefu and Snake arrive to see Eva killing a Thorn while dodging a Giant demonic serpent towering over her)
Snake: Eva!!
(The Serpent turns looking at Josefu and Snake)
Eva: Snake!!?
(The Demonic serpent let's put a loud hiss then tries to attack Eva)
Snake: watch out!!!
Eva: !?
(Josefu dashes grabbing Eva and dodging out of the way of the Serpent's attack)
Eva: Josefu
Josefu: I'm here to save you
(Eva Stares at Josefu then falls unconscious from the wounds she has on her arm and body)
Josefu: we need to hurry Eva Is badly Injured
(Eva falls unconscious from exhaustion and going for so long, Josefu sets Eva down as the serpent suddenly tries to attack them. Rasing it's upper body in there air the serpent swings it's tail at Josefu)
Josefu: !? Raijin's Flow
(Josefu skins turns blue increasing his defense, tanking the hit from the serpent. Josefu blocks the hit but is sent back)
Snake: Noble Blood!
(Snake increases his powers)
Snake: you alright Josefu?
Josefu: (Coughing) yeah
(The giant Serpent let's out a loud Hissing noice)
Josefu: I see why is no one comes here that Demonic beast is no joke
Snake: Focus Strike!
(Snake makes gathers light energy over his sword)
Josefu: I see you learned a new trick...Thunder God King Strike!!
Snake: Dragon Charge!!
(Snake and Josefu rush the Serpent attacking it but it curls up defending itself from the incoming attacks, deflecting both Snake's and Josefu's attack off it's armored scales)
Snake: Damn!
Josefu: !?
(not being able to pierce the Serpents skin, it let's out another hiss)
Josefu: That skin is tough
Snake: yeah we have to think of something
Josefu: I have a plan..Condense Red Hell!!
(Josefu twins red lightning down onto the Serpent, it takes no damage and releases killing Intent towards them)
Josefu: Take this!!!
(Josefu rushes jumping on the body of the serpent stabbing his sword Into it's back shooting lightning energy into it's body)
Snake: Nice one Josefu...Light Cannon
(Snake gathers light energy towards his mouth, getting ready to shoot the serpent)
