Chapter 21: Chapter 21. Hand Over the Galaxy.

"Alright, everyone. Look here, don't forget to smile. This is a photo that you can show off to your grandchildren in the future. Remember to sign a confidentiality agreement afterward."

"Come on, pay attention. Don't touch those green liquids! You might get poisoned. You don't want to end up with extra limbs, right?"

"Don't worry, don't worry. The government is dealing with it. Don't forget to call your congressman! Your voice matters!"

Noah stood in front of the crowd, fooling the people. 'Why isn't the cleanup crew here yet? K had to pretend to give them a group photo a couple of times. What are they going to do if these people end up with brain damage?'

Just as he was thinking about that, a black van came up and stopped right beside him.

"Hey, N, K! I can't believe you guys didn't even call me for something like this! Didn't I tell you, I'm the best at dealing with bugs-God damn! That's a huge bug!"

J took off his sunglasses, and his eyes were almost popping out.

"J, are you in the logistics team now? Do a good job. It's a promising position and the cleanup work isn't so dangerous." Noah patted J on the shoulder and smiled, "Could you get me a new suit later?"

J looked at Noah's suit and said, "What happened to you? Did the Bug pounce on you or something? Hahaha... um... Why aren't you guys laughing?"

K looked at J, "It did, and N pounced back. Guess what happened."

J turned his head to look at the Bug, and then at Noah, "According to the information, Bugs should be five times stronger than humans. He's also a grown-ass adult Bug, so he should be even stronger. Did you use that Kung Fu of yours or something?" J made some awkward and embarrassing Kung Fu-like moves.

'After learning Kung Fu, can you become that strong?!'

"Actually... I'm still a virgin, can you teach me some kung fu? I know, according to those movies, I need a sensei, N, be my teacher, okay?"

Noah squinted at J, "We used to be roommates. You think I don't know how many women you brought home? And, I told you before, your too old, way past the age of learning kung fu."

"No, no, no, no. I don't need to be as good as you, just half as good as you, or... one third? At least a quarter as good as you?" J prattled on behind Noah.

Annoyed by J's bickering, Noah thought for a moment, "Do you really want to learn?"

"Yes. You need me to kneel down or something?"

"No way man. I don't want you as a student, but I can teach you a couple of moves. Watch this one, it's called horse stance." Noah showed him a horse stance.

J looked at Noah with some suspicion, "This is kung fu? You aren't pulling my leg, are you? We're best friends, right? "

"Try it, push me."

"You think I wouldn't dare? I won't care if you fall over... You... The' fuck? You're as solid as a rock?!" J was shocked. He actually used both hands, but couldn't push Noah back.

K was also interested in Noah's martial arts, but he wasn't as thick-skinned as J, he just kept watching their antics. Seeing that J was about to give up, he pretended to come forward and join in one last push as a joke. They both tried pushing Noah on each shoulder.

They really couldn't push him. they both tried their best, but Noah was still standing. Again, with full force, Noah's shoulders moved, and K stumbled a bit, while J fell to the ground.

"Wow, that's amazing. Is this Kung Fu?" J's eyes shined.

"There is another function of this stance. It can strengthen your waist and kidneys. With your talent, I don't think you can learn it though. I have other moves if you're interested?" Noah looked down at him.

"That's it, that's it! I'll try it when we get back later!" J instantly decided.

"J, you stay here to deal with things. We have other things to do," K patted J on the shoulder.

"Hey, are you guys leaving me again?! Wait! Why don't I have one of those flashy-memory eraser thingies?" J started to ask. 'That thing looked useful.'

"Your other colleagues have one, and you will get one after you finish your training period."

Getting in the car Noah asked K, "Is the jewelry cleared?"

"Done, the cleanup crew already went there. According to police records, there was a jewelry store robbery. The jewelry store now belongs to the M.I.B."

Noah: "???"

'The organization also got the jewelry store, no wonder it's so rich.'

"The jewelry store is owned by the Arquillian, Rosenberg. Now that Rosenberg is dead, the Arquillians don't want it, so it temporarily belongs to the M.I.B. We still have one problem now. The Arquillian battle cruiser, still in space, aiming at Earth."

"Can't we just hand over the Bug? But leave the leg, it's useful." Noah said as if the threat to Earth wasn't a big deal.

"The Arquillians aren't asking for the murderer. They know a Bug did it, and are going to attack them next. What they want is the galaxy," K said, staring at Noah.

"What galaxy? Do they want to rule the galaxy? The galaxy that our planet is in?" Noah acted as if he was confused.

'Tsk. Those Arquillians want the 'Galaxy', that super energy source! Right now, the system is using it to upgrade. It's already at 98%. I have to delay it a bit until the charging is finished.'

The M.I.B is too weak. He finally got his hands on something precious, now he actually had to give it back. He also thought about keeping the 'Galaxy', to try if he could use it again to charge the system a second time.

"It's a super energy source called 'Galaxy' and looks like a nebula from the outside. It was hung around the neck of the cat you brought back. We just got the news that the cat's name is Orion."

"So, what the Arquillian said before he died should mean, 'the super energy source 'Galaxy', is on the collar of the cat named Orion'."

"On the cat's collar? That's easy. I'll get it and give it to the Arquillians when we get back. It looks like, bringing the cat back was a good thing!"

K looked into Noah's eyes and said, "Are you sure you didn't take the energy source from the collar?"

"Of course not. You guys didn't find it when you went into my dorm? Then I'll go back and help look for it." Noah cursed in his heart. 'This fucking dormitory is also not safe!'

"We didn't enter your dormitory. I hope that you find it after you get back, and give it back to them." K turned and looked at the road as he continued to drive.

Back at the M.I.B. headquarters, Noah saw a lot of aliens carrying suitcases, going through security checks, and waiting in line to leave Earth. They all knew that an Arquillian battle cruiser had aimed its weapons at Earth, and if they didn't leave now, they would be buried with Earth.

Some of those who didn't get tickets to a ship clamored for a few extra flights, and some simply left the M.I.B. to find other illegal flights, among which was the alien Frank, who looked like a dog.

"They look like some of our colleagues. I remember you said they came to Earth as a refugee and were taken in by the M.I.B." Noah pointed at some aliens.

When Zed saw Noah and the others come in, he immediately came over, "Yes, some people just don't have the balls for the job. And now, they're leaving us. Don't worry about that now. I heard K say that the 'Galaxy' is in your room, right? Quick, go get it for the sake of the planet."
