After his small act of rebellion against himself, Ciprian went back inside the shrine.

In his current state of mind, he was prepared to turn himself in to Alaric or one of the others when the opportunity presented itself. Now that he'd had a moment to feel the warmth of the sunlight that had finally pierced through the lies he'd created specifically to obscure it, he may have even ventured from his hiding spot to hasten the inevitable.

But he knew if he ventured too far, the Creature would sense it, and it would force him right back again.
