Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Waking Up In The Hospital [EDITED]
Ayuna slowly opens his eyes and was stinged by the bright rays of the sun coming from the window. He slowly sits up and look around.
'I'm in the Hospital.' Ayuna thought with certainty. He look at his body wearing a blue hospital gown.
'System. List of the jutsus scanned?' Ayuna commanded in his head. A blue screen immediately appears in his mind.
[Scanned Jutsus:
Insect Art: Insect Lock
Body Flicker Jutsu
Blood Stopping Jutsu
Healing Jutsu]
Before Ayuna fall unconscious, he commanded his System to copy all the jutsus used near me. It's quite a great harvest even though the System only copied 4 jutsus.
'Paste it in my mind.'
Slowly, knowledge about those 3 justus started flowing in my head. Imprinting itself in his memories.
5 minutes later, the pasting was done. Ayuna analyzed his new jutsus and was happy with his boon.
Suddenly, a sound of footsteps sounded. Hearing this, Ayuna naturally put on a confused but happy expression. The door opened and 3 ninjas entered. They were the Uchiha-Hyuga-Aburame team.
"Oh, you're awake." The Hyuga Clan member said in a slightly surprised tone. He help himself and sit on a chair beside the bed. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine now, sir." Ayuna answer softly. The other two ninjas also sit in the chairs near him.
The Hyuga Clan member nodded before introducing himself: "I'm Shinichi Hyuga and here's my team. This is Renma Aburame and Shinoi Uchiha, they are my team members."
"Nice to meet you, sir and ma'am. I'm Ayuna Rotasu." Renma nodded while Shinoi just snorted.
"So, I have important questions here that I need you to answer." Shinichi said, looking serious.
Ayuna change his expression into seriousness too. "Go ahead, sir. I don't mind."
Shinichi nodded before he started asking: "How did you survive? Base on the reports, there are 5 Jounins who came with you and apparently no one survived except you."
Ayuna sighed in sadness before speaking: "Well, it's because of my talents. Since I was a child, I have this unique abilities. I have a terrifying reflex plus a strong sixth sense that kept me alive this past few months since I was forced to go in war. My body would subconsciously evade anything that have the chance of killing me while my sixth sense can send me warnings when my decision will lead me into death." Ayuna slowly explained.
"When we are about to get ambushed by ninjas from Iwagakure, my sixth sense warned me that I will die if I continued. Maybe the chance of death is really high, my reflex immediately reacted and I jumped back subconsciously, avoiding the assault of the Iwagakure Ninjas. Many sacrificed their lives so that some ninjas could escape. I killed a few enemies before I was knocked out by a jutsu from the enemy and lost consciousness. The moment I woke up, I was the only alive ninja." Ayuna started tearing up like he was in great pain.
Shinoi's eyebrows scrunched together. "The last sentence don't make sense. How can a ninja from Iwagakure leave an unconscious enemy alive?"
"Maybe it's because my reflex used my secret move." Ayuna replied.
"Secret move? Do you mind to explain its ability?" Shinichi ask.
"It's hard to explain. You will understand it more clearly if I show you." Ayuna said. Slowly, his breathing stopped, his heartbeat continued to slow down until it only beat once every 2 minutes, his chakra signature was suppressed to the max, and his brain send less and less brain waves. Ayuna feels like a corpse now. His skin immediately getting paler. His smiling face was tainted by gloominess.
The three ninja was shocked. Shinichi and Shinoi opens their dojutsu to see what was happening.
"H-how can you do that?" Even Renma, the most quiet of them all can't help but ask.
"I don't know. As long as I can remember, I can use this ability since I was young." Of course Ayuna was lying. The Original Ayuna did not possess this ability and it was him who invented it. He created it out of boredom and soon got bored with it so he threw it in the back of his mind. It comes handy now.
Finally, Shinichi, Renma, and Shinoi recovered from their shock. If this is really the situation then it makes sense.
Ayuna's vitals quickly came back. His complexion coming back. "I can only use this for 5 minutes. If I exceed it, I have a large chance of dying."
Shinichi breath heavily before speaking: "Okay. I just need you to do something before we end this. Please tell me what happened to your mission in full details."
Ayuna nodded before he started telling them facts mixed with lies.

"Thank you for your cooperation. We'll take our leave." Shinichi said before standing up. Renma and Shinoi followed after him. They soon take their leave, making the already empty room, more empty.
Ayuna was sure that they already checked his memories of what happened. Of course he expected it so using his powerful mind, he forcefully locked all of his memories and leave the original's memories. He tweak it a little bit first and create false memories to back his claims.
Ayuna knows that a Yamanaka Clan Member enters his mind while he was sleeping because he saw it himself. That individual looks at the memories he left unlocked and watch him silently in some corner of his mind.
Shinichi and the other's visit is his last test and he passed it amazingly. He even raised his inportance to them by showing a technique that he created in his past life.
Ayuna lays in the bed once more before closing his eyes, thinking: 'So troublesome.'

Shinichi and his team immediately headed to the office of Hokage. It is of course to report.
Because of their fast speed, they quickly arrived in the Hokage Tower. Stating their reason, they were allowed to come inside the Hokage's Office.
Shinichi, Renma and Shinoi salutes to the Third Hokage and started their report. The Hokage did not say anything and just listen.
"Hokage-sama, we finished Ayuna Rotasu's interrogation. Base on the Jounin, Yamanaka Ken's report and our own interview, we can say that he was innocent. Please read our report." Shinichi said before giving the Third Hokage his report.
"Thanks for your hardwork." Sarutobi Hiruzen said while reading Shinichi's report. After a while, he raised his eyebrows. "Oh? A secret technique that allows him to become corpse like? Super slow heartbeat, suppressed chakra signature, and no breath?"
"Yes, Hokage-sama. We saw it with our own eyes." Shinichi answers.
"Shinoi, did you copied it using your sharingan?" Hiruzen ask the quiet Uchiha.
"No, Hokage-sama. It's more of an innate ability than a technique. I can't copy it even if I want to." Shinoi immediately answers.
"That's unfortunate. You may leave."
The Hyuga-Aburame-Uchiha trio bows before leaving Hiruzen's office.
The Third Hokage lit his pipe and take a long drag. His eyes looking at Ayuna's file in his desk.

After 2 days of resting in the Hospital, Ayuna was finally discharge. It was currently 6pm.
Ayuna looks at the village of Konoha. The mood of the citizens are heavy because they were currently in war and death is common. He just look at it indifferently before walking to his house.
After a few minutes of walking, he arrived in a above average house. Although his parents are civilians, they were still top class Chunin that can deal with Jounin if the luck is on their side so naturally, they saved up a lot of money for their only son.
He enters the house and look around. As no one lived here for a few months, dust can be seen piling in the furnitures.
He headed to the kitchen and came back with a towel and bucket full of water. He then started cleaning without a word.
20 minutes later, Ayuna was done. He take a look at the clean house while wiping the sweat in his face with the back of his hands.
He walks to his room which was previously the room of his parents. He transfer useful things from his original bedroom to his new room.
"Finally done." Ayuna sighed before heading to the bathroom. He remove his clothes and his delicate body appeared. His wounds were almost healed and it seems that no scars will be left behind.
He opens the shower and started cleaning his body. From his long hair to his white and tender body.
15 minutes later, he was finally done. He wipes his body throughly before wearing a new pair of clothes that the Original Ayuna likes to wear. Although it looks ugly, Ayuna have no choice. Unless he wants to walk around the village naked.
He ate some ration pills before laying down on his new bed. It's not that Ayuna did not want to eat 'true' food, it's just he's super lazy to walk even a little more.
"Troublesome day." Ayuna whispered before he enters the dreamland.
