Chapter 237: Shut it off

I sit up on the bed when I hear the door close. I don't know who was just in here, I don't know how long I have been asleep, but I am glad that I am alone. That is the one thing I need right now. I still don't even understand this. I still can't believe that he is gone. 

The last time I saw him, he made a promise to me. 

He said he was going to protect me. 

I just needed to wait for him. 

Rome loved me and I didn't even have the chance to be with him. I look around and see my phone beside my bed. I don't even know how it is here, but I reach for it because I don't want to be here. I don't want to be in the place that took him from me.

I send a message to my dad and drop the phone back on the table. 

I stand up from the bed and walk to the bathroom. My heart is breaking and I just want to die. I don't want to be in this world anymore. I need to be in a world with him.
