Lowell
The meeting is supposed to be quick but the minute I enter the room with Col, the tension in the air is strong enough to cut class. I take a seat and Colin sits beside me. He seems more relaxed here than he ever did in my pack. The nerves I usually get from him are gone. The room is full of people--all unfamiliar faces. These people are going to decide if I should stay here or go back home. If they send me back, I will have to leave Col and that is not something I want to do. I have plans, I have things that I need to do before we can finally be free from everything but I also want access to him. I want to be able to come to him whenever I miss him.
I don't want to be treated like someone that doesn't belong.
At the end of this meeting, I want them to believe that I am not a danger to them even though a big part of me does believe that I am.
