Chapter 115: The threat

Rek gets back to the compound and he comes to see me. Col seems to think I am able to handle this and maybe I could but I am basically walking on eggshells with the people in the pack and I don't even know how to redeem myself. I usually have things under control but my wall is cracking and it almost seems like that is the intention of whoever is behind this mess.

"You got this,'' he grabs my hand and it makes me feel better.

"You called for me?'' Rek takes a seat on the chair in front of me. Ralph and Tala are the only other people in the room. He notices her immediately and there is a smile on his face—almost like he is taunting her.

I have no doubt in my mind that Rek did the things that Tala said he did. I don't even trust the guy, I know what he is capable of and as someone that doesn't even like me in the first place, he would do whatever he can to hurt me or undermine me.
