Chapter 99: Cravings

"Enter.''

The man walks into the darkroom and there is a gruesome expression on his face. He takes a seat next to the other man and the scowl on his face tells it all. The room is quiet, as quiet as a graveyard at midnight. The chills from the vent above hit the two men in the room. 

"Akela is dead,'' the other man announces, almost like it was something they were expecting. 

"The Hemming boy killed him?" 

This gets a nod from the messenger.

"We need to find a way to kill that bastard. It has been too long." The man echoes in the room. There is silence after that before the messenger utters calmly "He has Beau Foxly in his corner. Somehow, he got together with Colin Foxly. It is impossible for him to even feel anything for the boy. He is tied down, so I don't even know how this happened.''

The tension in the room is strong, and the stillness in the night is looming.
