Chapter 139: Team Errors

The rays from the sun shone brightly into the room and just a few seconds after the rays got to his face, Dave slowly opened his eyes.

He turned his gaze to Emma who had her arms wrapped around him, he could feel the tingling feeling of her breathing against his neck as she was still fast asleep.

<Good morning, Dave>

'Good morning, Catherine.'

<I'm guessing you're not going to do any of your morning exercises today>

'Uh...maybe.'

He turned his gaze to the ceiling before turning it back to Emma who was still sleeping peacefully in his arms.

It didn't take long before she made a little movement and slowly opened her eyes.

"Dave." She said, blinking her eyes a couple of times. "Good morning." She said with a bright smile on her face.

"Good morning," Dave said. "Hope you slept well?"

"I did, you?"

"I'll always sleep well with you by my side." He said before kissing her. "Season's over which means no training today and that means we can finally sleep in today."
