"Human blood?"-- he asked with curiosity written on his face. "Where did you get human blood from?"

She was mute, she only rolled her eyes from side to side, not sure of what she was going to respond.

"I ask you. Where did you get human blood from?"

"I don't know, my lord. She asked me to give it to you." She pointed to a corner and the person he saw next baffled him to the bone marrow.

"Fedora?!" Surprise washed over his face and for a brief moment he felt as though he couldn't breathe. Could it be that his eyes were deceiving him or he chose not to believe his eyes? This was his best friend. She wasn't of his clan but had gone on an exile after the brutal clash between the werewolves and the vampires that took place many years ago. It had been such a long time since he heard from her or saw her.
