Chapter 47: Chapter 47 (worst day)

Ellie sat with her family at the dining to savor the precious meal that was prepared and served by the maidens. She sighed in relief as she scanned the various meals that were present on the table - ranging from potatoes, to rice, porridge and bread. She was more delighted to see grilled steak and fish as that had always been her favorite. There were vegetables and bacon served too. They were no different from the ones she ate at King Darius's palace but it felt different as she was at home with her family. 

They began to eat and queen Greta wasted no time in asking her about her stay in Zeddicus.

"So Ellie tell us, how was your stay in the palace? Was it any good?"
