Cold midnight. 

Mu Yuexin was hiding under a tree but the rain was showing no sign to halt. Mu Yuexin was shaking while being drenched in cold rainwater. She hugged herself tightly and looked around.

At midnight, all the people who were sent to this forest heard the howls of beasts. Mu Yuexin trembled when she saw a pair of predatory eyes. She felt she was being judged by this beast and soon, it would jump on her. 

'It is bad…' Mu Yuexin breathed hard. She turned around and looked up at the tall tree. 'I need to get away from this beast…'

Although the tree was slippery, Mu Yuexin clutched its trunk and wanted to go up. But because of the rain, the trunk was slippery and even though she and others had gotten the training to climb up trees, Mu Yuexin suffered when she went up.
