As Lorien declared this, both Makima and Kishibe felt a majestic aura wash over them as they felt their blood bubble for once.
However, as calm as they were, this sensation only lasted for a fleeting moment before being suppressed.
After all, these two were too experienced to allow themselves to get caught up in the moment and neglect rational analysis.
This was especially true for Makima, who always seemed to maintain an air of control in any situation.
It's just that Lorien paid little heed to any of this at the moment, as his objective was never to convince them through rational argumentation; Rather, it was simply to spread information.
So, following his declaration, Lorien raised his head, his golden eyes peering through the wide silver hoodie, seemingly piercing right through their beings as he questioned.
"Alright, the questioning ends here."
"As the creator of the Dream Path, I've made my stance clear; I care not for your race as long as your heart is good; So, will you, the camp representatives, join my power system?"
Asking this, Lorien fell silent, awaiting their response.
It's just that upon closer observation, one would notice that Lorien appeared neither concerned nor worried; rather, it seemed that he was simply going through the motions.
Moreover, considering the severity of the situation and the importance of the question for this power system as it would determine how quickly it would spread, this was truly weird.
'Well, I don't really care about their choice.'
'No matter what decision they make, I'll forcefully implant the Dream Path Seed within them.'
'Kishibe is honestly somewhat dispensable, but he'll be useful in recruiting other human devil hunters.'
'Instead, Makima is the one I absolutely won't allow to escape no matter what, as the Control Law is of utmost importance to me.'
Thinking of this, Lorien redirected his focus back to Makima and Kishibe, patiently awaiting their response.
After all, while resorting to force was certainly an option, it could potentially complicate matters in the long run, so attempting the peaceful path first seemed more logical.

The only limiting factor to this decision was the potential dangers that might arise, however, all things considered, Kishibe deemed it a risk worth taking.
So, after pausing for a moment, he quickly responded.
"I agree."
Hearing this, Lorien nodded slightly, acknowledging Kishibe's decision, before waving his hand, causing a multicolored orb to materialize, and swiftly rush towards Kishibe, submerging into his body upon contact.
Doing this, Lorien glanced one last time at Kishibe who had caused his eyes to receive the detailed information about the dream path before turning his attention toward Makima.
"So, what about you?" He asked one again.
Hearing this, Makima raised her head and gazed silently at Lorien, her expression unreadable.
It appeared as though the potential gains and benefits of the Dream Path held little sway over her, they were simply insufficient to cloud her judgment.
So, as clear as it was, she quickly figured everything out.
'I don't have a choice.'
Understanding this, a small smile appeared on Makima's face as she responded sarcastically.
"I agree."
Hearing this, Lorien's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing the underlying sarcasm in Makima's response.
'She's truly astute.'
'It appears that she understood my need for devils based on the minimal information she gathered.'
However, this held no meaning to Lorien as he feigned ignorance and waved his hand causing another multicolored orb to materialize and rush towards Makima, swiftly submerging into her body upon contact.
Doing so, Lorien waited for a few moments, allowing Kishibe and Makima to absorb the information about the Dream Path.
After all, as he gave them the Dream Path seeds, Lorien imposed a time delay of a few hours on their activation, ensuring that the transformation would occur later.
This allowed him to take a brief respite, mindful of the possibility of another battle with the World Will arising due to his recent actions.
So, the only immediate effect of the Dream Path seeds on Kishibe and Makima was the detailed information they got about each stage of the path.
However, even this was enough to stir excitement within them as even the typically stoic Kishibe displayed small signs of excitement on his face, indicating the significance of the knowledge they had acquired.
Seeing their reactions, Lorien couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction well up within his heart.
'Well, it seems that my dream path is still great.'
'Now that they know the detailed Dream Path and the possibilities it holds, they will undoubtedly work tirelessly to reach its pinnacle and transcend the shackles of this world.'
Smiling with satisfaction, Lorien's grin only grew wider with time, however, he quickly suppressed these emotions, knowing that it wasn't time for this and that he could still leverage the situation to his advantage.
So, without wasting any time, Lorien spoke up.
"It appears that you are quite satisfied with the power system, so, how about I offer you and everyone in this world a deal!"
"Huh?"
Hearing Lorien's words and noting the shift in his demeanor, Kishibe and Makima immediately refocused their attention.
"As a Reality Warper, there isn't much I can't do;
As long as there is enough energy, I can even blow up the planet and reverse the timeline;
So, here is my offer!"
Pausing for a moment, Lorien looked the two straight in the eyes as he said.
"In exchange for any wish from me, what I ask from you is..."
