Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Red Eyes 2
Noctis then looked at the Black Wyvern as it roared at Noctis ready for a fight. Noctis had a huge grin as he licked some blood off his face.
While Noctis was completely in grossed in the battle he was still mentally in control. Noctis started to think 'The biggest problem is if it started to fly. I need to limit its movements.'
Noctis looked a the other Great Sword on the ground that was still in good condition and came up with a plan. Noctis threw the damaged great sword as hard as he could towards the Wyvern. Noctis then started to run to the other great sword. The Black Wyvern used a fireball and it impacted the great sword in the air causing a small explosion and for the line of sight from the Wyvern to Noctis to be disrupted.
Noctis using this rushed the Wyvern and jumped on its head and used it as a springboard. Noctis then flipped in the air and dove straight down with the great sword as he tried to build up speed. The Wyvern shaking its head from the previous impact looked up to fire a fireball at Noctis. Noctis blocked the Fireball with the one free hand he had with the gauntlet. This completely destroyed the blood gauntlet and charred his hand severely burning all the skin.
Noctis stuck through his attack not relenting. He then nose dives the rest of the way like a spear with the great sword as the tip of the spear. The great sword then connected with the Black Wyvern wing. While the wing did bend due to the hard black scales it did not puncture through. Noctis seeing this then proceeded flip in the air and slam his feet straight into the sword causing it to puncture through the wing and get impaled to the ground.
Noctis then jumped again and faced the Black Wyvern. The Black Wyvern started to fire off multiple fireballs making Noctis dodge each one. However he could not fully dodge all of them getting burnt from the explosions that happened. He would heal as fast as he would get burnt but he was getting more and more tired. The Wyvern eventually stopped and looked between its injured wing forced to the ground and Noctis.
Deciding it needed to be free it slowly and painfully moved as its wing tore from. The great sword guaranteeing it could no longer fly.
Noctis and the Black Wyvern both stared into each other's eyes. Ironically both having red eyes. Noctis was enjoying every moment of this fight with a wide grin on his face. If anyone were to see it they would think he is crazy.
Noctis only had one Gauntlet left and the Black Wyvern only had one working wing. Noctis started to charge at the Wyvern as it prepares another fireball. However much to the Wyverns surprise Noctis did not dodge it he jumped over it. This allowed Noctis to avoid damage and get in close with the Wyvern.
Noctis was right up on the Wyverns head he had to move out of the way before he got bit by the Wyvern as well. Noctis then wound up and punched the Wyvern as hard as he could in the head. This caused Noctis's gauntlet to break a bit but it also broke the scales on the Wyverns head.
When Noctis got his hit in though the Wyvern bit down on Noctis's free arm. The Wyvern started to shake wildly as it moved Noctis like a rag doll. Noctis was being shaked wildly as he could feel the Wyvern sinking it's teeth in deeper and deeper threatening to bite his arm off.
Noctis started to furiously and rapidly punch the Wyverns head where he had already broke the scales. Seeing Noctis's Gauntlet about to break he decided to use his sharp fingers on the Guantlet to try one final pierce on the Black Wyvern.
With all of Noctis's strength he brought his arm back and as hard as he could went for one final strike on the Wyverns head. His gauntlet pierced right through and hit the Black Wyverns brain causing it to collapse and die turning to dust.
Noctis fell to the ground on his knees. He could see his right arm down to the bone. He quickly brought a two potions out of his storage he drank one and poured the rest on his open wound. He then quickly got a mana potion out of his inventory and drank that too.
Noctis's looked around and saw two big crystals one from the Infant Dragon and one from the Black Wyvern he stored both and then noticed the Infant Dragon teeth that dropped and a lot of the Black Wyverns scales dropped as well. Noctis stored all of it and then looked at the bodies of all the adventurers. The mage a couple meters away being the only one alive. Noctis went through their stuff and took what potions they had he then grabbed their guilds cards and adventurer cards.
Noctis smirked "Fuck that was fun."
Noctis then looked at the mage "I guess I won't kill him. Better to just carry him to the Guild."
Noctis picked up the mage and started to make his way back up the dungeon. When Noctis had finally made it to the top of floor 1. He received many strange looks from the guild workers who were guarding the front. He looked down at himself and realized he was bloody and shirtless. Not being able to see his face the only thing you could see clearly were his blood red eyes as his face was covered in soot, dirt, monster blood, and his own blood.
Noctis then walked Into the guild and had everyone turn to him. Lefiya was in the guild as well with Riveria. They both turned and were shocked. Lefiya ran up to Noctis "What happened?"
Noctis shrugged "Was on floor 12 and saw this guys group die to an Infant Dragon an a Black Wyvern. I was able to get this guy to safety but the rest of his team died. I think he went mind down."
Noctis then carelessly dropped the mage on the floor. "Can someone heal him?"
Riveria started to heal the mage. Once he was healed Riveria went up to Noctis "What happened with the Infant Dragon and the Black Wyvern."
Noctis smirked "I killed both."
This came as a shock to everyone in the guild. Some people were still casually talking but as soon as he said that the guild went dead silent.
Lefiya then yelled "How did you do that at level one!!"
That statement caused some people to fall over some had their jaws drop down even further as well. Noctis smiled "I just kept punching them. Then I used the great swords of his dead friends to help. Then I started to punch them…."
Riveria covered Noctis's mouth "Let's finish the discussion at Twilight Manor with Loki."
Noctis shrugged "Sure."
Noctis then tossed the guild an adventurer cards on the mages body of his dead friends. Much to the displeasure of Lefiya and Riveria how he did it. In fact many of the adventurers in the guild were looking at Noctis with a hateful or disgusted gaze.
Noctis then walked out "Let's go."
Riveria and Lefiya quickly followed behind him. As they were walking in the street Riveria started to scold Noctis. "You can't just do that Noctis. That guy was knocked out and you just dropped him to the floor like he was dead weight."
Noctis shrugged "He was dead weight. You should have seen the way they tried to fight the Dragon and Wyvern. It was sloppy they were all bound to die at some point the mage was lucky he was in the back at least away from the monsters."
Lefiya was angry "Did you just watch them die?"
Noctis nodded "Yeah. It was their fight. I didn't want to steal their kills."
Lefiya shook her head "But you clearly knew they could not win. Why would you not help them."
Noctis was annoyed "There was no reason. They were weak and they died because they were weak."
Lefiya was about to continue but Riveria stopped her "Lefiya he is not wrong. But Noctis you now represent the Loki Familia you can not do things that could tarnish that."
Noctis sighed "Fine I will try to be more tactful when it comes to public affairs. But I already told Loki I'm no hero so don't expect it."
Lefiya did not know what to say and Riveria seemed a lot more okay with what Noctis said then Lefiya did.
Riveria kept a neutral face "Let's just see Loki and see what she has to say."
Noctis smiled that fine with me.
