“Here.”

I lifted my head as I looked up, staring straight at a steaming cup of what smelled like coffee. I took the beverage from Michael as he sat down on the small set of stairs beside me.

“You know you never really explained to me how you have an entire pack of wolves chasing after you, or the fact that you’re somehow their luna despite not being a wolf yourself.”

I sighed as I leaned back, my weight resting on my right hand as the other held onto the mug. I had thought Michael forgot about that entire encounter, or at the very least that it didn’t really phase him, being a demon hunter and all. Guess not. I remained silent and he persisted, knocking my foot with his until I turned to look at him.
