Eleonore’s POV

I gasped as I came back to the real world.

I felt a sensation rush right over me, every atom of my body seemed to vibrate as it became aware of the magic I had taken from Bastian. My body wasn’t built for this type of power, and I screamed as I fell down to the ground, shaking uncontrollably as I tried to endure it.

“Eleonore!” I heard someone shout out my name, calling me to them. But it wasn’t just one voice no, it was two. Twins, Rhett and Hayden both rushed to me as I fell to the ground and I felt them catch me just before I fell to the ground and hurt myself.

Their touch calmed the pain slightly, each of their hands held in my own as I gripped onto them and shut my eyes closed. Memories flashed through my mind as I swallowed down Bastian’s power, it was as though I could taste his feelings, emotions and everything he had had to endure while that demon had possessed him. I could feel his pain, his anguish and the guilt of not being able to do anything.
