Chapter 94: Chapter 94: The Village

Eleonore’s POV

The walk towards the village wasn’t slow, but it wasn’t fast paced either. The twins and I spoke between each other here and there, pointing out some things we noticed about the Void, but it was silent for the most part.

I was in my head the most about the entire situation, wondering what would happen if we see Bastian here, what he or the twins would do. I found myself hoping that this was all just a bad dream, that I hit my head walking home that night the twins came into town and I’ve been in a coma ever since.

A long coma, so, so good at some points and yet downright haunting at others.

“Are you alright?” It was Hayden who spoke up after the long silence, Rhett had gone ahead of the two of us to get a better feel of the place which left Hayden and I to walk together. I nodded my head and offered him a reassuring smile.
