A long long time ago, a certain organisation was involved in a secret project where they worked to make humans surpass their biological limits. They had hundreds of subjects under them, all starting as children of different races and different backgrounds.

But since the only humans that lacked basic rights were from outside the Cities, a lot of things were obvious about this secret project.

Some have to be stolen, some sold.

In a world where the Abyss wreaked havoc, hiding human children with inhumane abilities could not have been easy. Especially if they numbered in hundreds or thousands.

But little was actually known about them.

It made Saki convinced of a few things.

One, those who truly succeeded in the program were few. Two, all of them needed to be constantly watched.
