Land of Fire.
Hidden Leaf Village.
The sky was ablaze with the fire of the sun. The soft breeze and hustling streets made a peaceful atmosphere in the village.
Mission Assignment Hall.
Every Official Shinobi of the village, whether it's a Genin, Chunin, or Jonin, all of them receive missions for remuneration.
Located at the Hokage Building, is the assignment hall where mostly the Hokage himself assigns the missions.
"Ugh...this is going to be a huge headache!"
"Sigh...just the time."
In the middle of the mission assignment, sat a man with spiky brown hair and a goatee, leaning back on his seat holding a scroll in his hands, causing him the worry.
"Don't worry Lord Third...perhaps some teams must be returning from their missions!!"
A man donned in Chunin garb, who sat beside him reminded Sarutobi of seeing the troubled look on his face.
"At any rate, we can't do something for now. Let's set this aside and-"
"Knock...
The troubled Hiruzen said while sighing, but a sudden knock at the door interrupted him.
With his permission, the door was pushed open and soon four figures entered the hall; the tint of worry disappeared from his face while looking at the newcomers.
"Ah...Excuse us, Lord Hokage."
"We are here for our first mission as a team!"
The figure at the front who had long black hair and featureless white eyes, bowed lightly in respect; following him were three other figures who also strode.
"Haah! Hizashi...you came just at the right time."
"Here...take a look at this!"
Hiruzen exhaled a sigh of relief as his wrinkled face gained its original glimmer.
Looking at the arrived team alleviated his worry, as he took out the mission scroll and passed it to Hizashi.
As one of the Five Great Nations, Hidden Leaf Village receives hundreds of missions on a daily account, thus sometimes situations such as this arrive quite often.
And today was as such day when not a single team was available.
"Um...but Lord Third."
Taking a look at the mission details, a troubled look appeared on Hizashi's face as he looked at Izuna on his side, who had a serene expression on his face.
"Uh Oh~ it almost slipped my mind!"
Sarutobi, after realizing the case, exclaimed as he also looked at Izuna and fell in thoughts.
"Um."
"Excuse me, but is something the matter?"
When Izuna noticed Sarutobi peering gaze at him, he remained with a calm expression on his face and asked in confusion.
"Izuna, as you've learned in the Academy that Genin, Chunin, and Jonin are assigned missions based on their Ranks."
"Genin usually undergo D and C level missions..."
"But this mission is a bit difficult, considering it'd be your first mission!"
After reminding the attentive Izuna, Sarutobi motioned Hizashi to pass him the scroll and read it out aloud.
"To escort the daughter of Daimyo of Land of Tea back safely to her homeland."
"Mission Rank B!"
Izuna nodded as he took the scroll from Hizashi's hands and calmly read its contents, with an indifferent expression on his face.
"Generally escorting missions such as this, are considered normal B rank..."
"But lately a few rogue Ninja from the Hidden Stone Village were spotted near the border of Land of Tea, they act as bandits and rob the passers-by."
As Sarutobi explained the further details the mission carried, Izuna waved off his hands and gladly accepted the mission.
"There's is no need to worry Lord Third; I can handle it!!"
"After all, you can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water; so if I have to start somewhere, then why not this one."
"And it's not like I alone am doing this mission, the whole team is going."
Hiruzen was silent for a while at the remark of the young Ninja before him; his words reminded him of his Sensei, who said the same words, bringing a smile to his face.
Izuna knows that in order not to be crushed in this perilous Ninja world, he has to become strong and fight strong opponents.
So starting with a high B rank mission, seemed like a good start to him.
"You are a very...clever and remarkable boy, Izuna."
Hiruzen, after the pause, thought for a while, as if choosing his words carefully, and showed an appreciative nod.
"All right then, Team Hizashi...I will leave it to you."
"And depending on the situation...the rank of the mission can be further increased!"
Izuna's answer surprised Hiruzen who has a kind smile on his face, as he reminded Hizashi of the possibility of increment of the mission rank.
"Yes, Lord Third...I'll make sure to see through it."
"Get ready, we'll assemble at the main entrance in an hour and depart to meet our client."
Hizashi said as he bowed a little in respect to the Hokage; the next moment turned towards the three and reminded them to assemble at the Main Gate.
"Un."
Izuna and his colleagues nodded in understanding as they left the assignment hall.
'Sigh...I wonder...do you have it, young as you are...the Will of fire?'
As Team Hizashi left for their mission, Sarutobi, the professor, was lost in his thoughts, looking at the back of departing Izuna, while his words echoed in his mind.

Entrance Gate.
The main entrance gate of Konoha was filled with an immense flow of people entering and leaving, at the side stood a kid with a sword strapped on his lower back.

He wore a high-neck, black outfit, and blue trousers with white stripes on his right thigh.
Izuna, after putting necessary things for the mission in a storage scroll, stood at the village's entrance with arms folded across his chest and eyes closed; waiting for his teammates to arrive.
"Sorry for the wait!!"
A shout from afar caused Izuna to open his eyes as a boy a few years older than him, bespectacled and square-jawed, arrived near him, panting.
'Sigh... I'm late?... It's a first...'
"Ah. Sorry, you must have waited a lot!!"
"No, it's all right..."
Kakashi, who arrived soon after Mugino, sighed, facepalming himself, as his eyes fell on Izuna standing not far from him, who waved his hands and remained in his usual indifferent expression.
Kakashi wore a long-sleeved anchor-grey shirt with white strips in the middle of sleeves, metal arm protectors, leather straps around his back, and dark pants.
"It appears that everyone is on time."
Izuna and his fellow teammates heard a voice and saw Hizashi appear donned in his usual plain outfit with a black forehead protector on his forehead.
"We will meet our client at the Tanzaku Town."
"It's at a fair distance from here, so we should depart as soon as possible!"
"Yes, Sensei!!"
When Hizashi arrived, his eyes fell onto the trio before him, doing a brief nod, he reminded the three of them of the designated location and made their way to the Town.
